  1. Yeah I was planning to upgrade that next after the motherboard. Is there anything about the VDH-Max that makes it stand out from the others?
  2. Hey all, I’m planning to upgrade parts in my system after building it last year. My specs right now are: Ryzen 3 1200 GTX 970 Gigabyte A320m Crucial Ballistix 8gb 1 stick EVGA 500W PSU (80+ white) Sandisk x400 128gb SSD I mainly play Minecraft which is why the specs may seem a bit outdated. I’m trying to upgrade by A320m into a B450m and I need your help on which one to choose: - ASROCK B450m/AC - ASROCK B450m Steel Legend - Asus Prime B450m - MSI B450m PRO-VDH MAX - MSI B450m PRO-M2 MAX I know I can overclock, but I know with boards at these prices it’s not the best but I don’t plan on overclocking anyways maybe the GPU only. I’m more inclined towards the Steel Legend but want to know if I should go with something else. Thank you!
  3. Yeah I totally get why you would say that. My friend has this $120 Razer mouse and it broke after 8 months. The Razer keyboard I found looks really nice and perfect for what I need, but I don’t plan to replace the keyboard I get for a couple of years which was why I came here looking for recommendations I can be pointed to. I could just go with the Redragon Kumara, but I wanted to see if anyone knew any TKL’s that is both reliable and affordable. Still going to search everywhere I can though before making a purchase.
  4. Hi everyone! I need to upgrade from my Redragon Membrane keyboard to a mechanical keyboard. I found a Razer TKL keyboard which I’m ready to buy, but I would like to see other options from the community since I heard some bad things about razer’s products. Information: Max price: 65USD (I can try to go to 70) Location: United States Must be TKL keyboard (not even 60% mechanical, doing other things then just game and won’t work well with Minecraft pvp). Can be any switch, but I prefer brown and blue’s. Must be on amazon. Thank you so much!
  5. Lol Ryzen processors don’t have onboard graphics which is why nothing showed up
  6. I play on hypixel too with a GTX970 and R5 1600 (mainly bedwars). I get like 400-500 FPS on the maps and skywars similar FPS to bedwars. I limit my FPS to 250 on Minecraft tho, are you sure you haven’t limited it in video settings? (Guessing you haven’t but still to check)
  7. Planning to go with your suggestion. Is the i5-6600k better than the Ryzen 5 1600?
  8. Hey guys, I am building a budget pc after having enough with fps drops. I am not a serious gamer, I just play minecraft really and small games, but am looking to get into flight simulation soon (x-plane 11). Two budget choices for CPU's are, - Ryzen 3 1200 - Intel i3-9100F The Ryzen 3 1200 has 4 cores with it clocking at 3.9ghz. The intel i3-9100f is a quad-core processor and is clocking at 3.6ghz. Both overclockable, but i'm not planning to overclock the cpu. Reason why i'm asking is because I know AMD Ryzen processors depend on the ram speed and the channels used. I only have 1 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 MHz (I do plan to upgrade to 16gb). And with intel, it won't really matter what ram there is (to my understanding) and that it works better with x-plane. I live in the US and I have a GTX970, don't know if that matters. Thank you! (Also, if you have any budget motherboards you would recommend, please do let me know. Trying it to be below $70, but i'm flexible.)
  9. I'll increase my budget. Do you know any psu's that you would recommend? On pcpartpicker, it says my PC needs 305 watts.
  10. I live in the US. My budget for the PSU is max 40USD for the power supply. I am willing to increase depending on my options. I saw an EVGA 450bv. Is it good?
  11. Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it. Do you know if it’s good to buy the EVGA 400 N1, 400W? It has a 6-pin and 8-pin pci-e connector, and has enough watts to support my build. It’s not an 80 plus rated power supply however.
  12. Hey there. I am a first-time PC builder. I apologize if I miss out on something. This is obviously a build on a budget. My specs of my build are: - ASRock A320m-HDV -Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 (8GB,DDR4) -EVGA GTX970 (non-sc/ftw) -Ryzen 3 1200 (3.1Ghz) - Kingston 120GB SSD - Western Digital 1 TB 7200 RPM I found two old power supplies. I am aware I should not cheap out on one, but I would like to hear your opinion on what PSU I should get. (Both are used). - Corsair VX450W CMPSU-450VX 450w -Thermaltake SP-550AH2NCB-A 550w (SMART series?) - 80plus Bronze Thank you.
