  1. Thing is, i dont have any experience with RT since i've only used the RX 570 8GB. So no RT isn't a deal breaker for me but currently i can find the RTX 3060 at $350 and the RX 6700xt at 450 while the RTX 3070 is at a $580+ and i haven't dicarded the RX 6700 XT. I would go for the RX 6700 XT but as i said i've never had an RTX before so i dont know if the pros and cons are highly noticable, the reviews i've seen always point towards the Nvidia RTX.
  2. Im upgrading my rig and the main focus right now is the gpu. I've had my RX 570 8GB for around 4 to 5 years now and it hasn't completely failed me but i recently decided to upgrade. Since the RTX 40 series is to high a price i'll remain on the RTX 30 series. What worries me is if i go with the RTX 3060 whcih is good and cheaper than the rtx 3070 or wait to buy and rtx 3070. My budget is a rather good amount, i can buy the RTX 3070 but it's just to high a price, Is the performance difference worth 300+ extra bucks or is the RTX 3060 good enough. I'll be mainly using this GPU to play heavily modded games with over 200+ mods installed such as Skyrim, Fallout 4, Minecraft, etc. I accept any recommendation. My specs are ASRock X570 Steel Legend, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.80 GHz, Teamgroup 4X8 = 32 GB, Sabrent Nvme 500GB, Seagate 2TB HDD, Kinston 248GB, Kinston 480GB.
  3. Budget (including currency): $300 USD Country: Puerto Rico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light to Medium gaming (Genshin Impact, Monster Hunter, Scarlet Nexus,...), Work form home (semi-heavy), College worke (Very heavy). Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, my motherboard is due for an upgrade. I started to give some problems. Due to it's age I want to upgrade to something more modern and future proof. I've researched many Motherboards from Aorus, ASUS, MSI, ASRock. I'm trying to find a X570 All-Rounder and got to the conclusion of the ASRock x570 since it has tons USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, Good amount of Pcie, USB tyoe-c, Wi-Fi 6, and a little bit of RGB. The problem is that the i can't seem to find the wifi version and the memory speed is limited to 2666 according to amazon. My other Option was the Aorus Pro x570, it has wifi 6 integrated and most of the features i'm looking such as USB type c, lots of connectivity freedom, a good Bios and Software, The problem is price and stock, i've seen the motherboard marketed at $259.99, so why is it priced everywhere at 300+ and i also can't seem to find anywhere except amazon. I'm willing to accept other motherboards suggestions but i do have some boxes to check before upgrading: - Wi-Fi 6, sadly not all of us has access to ethernet ports. - USB Type-c - At least 4+ USB 3.1 Gen 2 - EZ mode Bios (optional) - $300 USD or less (no more) - 2 or more N.v.Me Slots - A bit of RGB (cause i'm connected to my inner child) - 3000+ Memory Speed (or X.M.P. capable) - X570 chipset I have a 600 watt PSU, Ryzen 9 3900 (Stock Cpu Fan), MSI RX570, T-Force DDR4 Ram 8x4, 6 MSI Fans (Stock from gungnir Case), ROG Strixx B-450, 2 Kinston SSD, 1 2TB HDD, 1 500GB N.v.Me SSD.
  4. tried it, didn't work. I plan on getting a new power supply either way since I got the one i have used and that was 2 years ago. I think it's about time either way, but if the problem persists I'll have to do something else.
  5. My pc has a delay or problem with temperature. Apparently it only starts when the room temperature is really low, talking about 60-75 F. On average it's always 80-98 F in my room so to maintain it cool i use an air conditioner to start it up and then leave the room cool. I understand that a computer has problems booting in high temperatures but, not even turning on is kinda weird for me, this always happens and i have to wait about 20-30 minutes for it to turn on. Sometimes I think it's a delay because I press the on button and takes the same time to turn on without air conditioner other times it turns on normally. I don't know which problem is it or what to do. The worst case for me is meddling with the wires. - I've tried changing the location in my room so it's on a cooler area. - Changed it's outlet - Changed some parts - Changed the OS to an nvme I use my pc almost around 8 to 10 hrs a day and I use it for gaming, research, homework/projects and online classes, almost everyday. I sometimes think i'm overloading the PSU My specs are Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core MSI Radeon RX 570 Armor 8GB Rog Strixx B-450 DDR4 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz Nvme Sabrent 500GB ssd kingston 240GB " 480 GB Hdd Seagate 2Tb EVGA 600 BQ 80+ (used) Peripharels are: Razor Cynosa Logitech G203 Razer Kraken Headset HXS Webcam Juonuvo Mic 2 Scepter 27" MSI Gungnir case
  6. Trust me, it wasn't well kept. I stoped using it a long time ago and from then on i had been moving it from place to place. Since I didn't use it and at the time I had better options than I didn't pay any attention to it but recently Since I needed it I thought I should try breathing some life into it and upgrade some of the components like the RAM and windows 7 to windows 10, also storage. But it's has suffered to much for any repairs.
  7. Thank you all for your help but I don't think this laptop will be used for productivity. It's just to damaged. The cover is destroyed and it's not turning even when it's plugged in. It's dead.
  8. I used it and got some of the mold out. Nut years did not do well on this laptop. Some of the ports are heavily damaged and one of them is the charging port and the audio jack.
  9. I have a Desktop PC but i do work on the go sometimes and my last laptop pc was a DELL Inspiron 15R. I haven't used it in many years and it has gained small bits of mold and rust on the ports only the rest is ok. Can it be restored, if so how do i do it?
  10. i've looked up the phanteks on amazon but it's going for $400, although it's just what i'm looking for. I'll see if the price goes down with sometime.
  11. I'm looking for a case with good cable management space and airflow so i can transfer my components. My budget is $130 and i was thinking of the msi gungnir. Is this a good option.
  12. i figured it out, it's the heat. My case doesn't have good airflow and the cpu fan i use for the ryzen 9 is the stock version of the ryzen 5, it's not the wraith one. Also i live in a pretty hot area, it can get to a 100 degrees easy. I think it's best for me to put a radiator and/or get a better case.
  13. Ran a Stress Test on MSI Kombuster 3, it only lasted about 16 mins. i also need to mention that i did buy used parts, the only ones are the Ram sticks and the PSU.
  14. The Ram is put correctly, it's in A2 and B2. I did the mamtest96 and there's no problem with the ram apparently. But before making rash decisions i would like to know if there's a way i can test my gpu in any way, if the results are nasty then I'll have too request a replacement.
  15. This build i installed Windows OS fresh, but it was last year. This is the hdd, to my understanding although it says Sata on top.
