  1. Thanks nick, I sent in a ticket last night.waiting for it to be reviewed. I may just buy a 2 pack of power buttons on Amazon and cut off one of the buttons and make my own cable. But was hoping maybe someone knew where to buy a less janky option
  2. Hey all, so I bought a used fractal design focus g mini case and when I got it home I realized it was missing the power/reset cable from the front io, aswell as the audio cables. It had non of the little annoying single and double prong cables. There are 2 empty 4 pin connections under the power/reset switch and audio Jack's. So my question is. Can I buy these cables anywhere? Iv looked around and can only find actual buttons not just a 4 pin female to 2 pin female cord. Even a 2-2 would work as I only need the power switch not the reset or audio. A bonus is the guy gave me my money back plus let me keep the case ;), any help is appreciated. Thanks
  3. Okay thanks. Would a bios update be a good thing to do? Would it improve overall performance in anyway? Also I never had the flickering or bad textures with my old fx 8350 and same 1060..
  4. Hello everyone. So I posted a while ago asking for help with my new setup not posting. -Ryzen 2600x, -asrock b450m steel legend, -evga GTX 1060 sc 6gb, -16 GB corsair lpx 2666 (using xmp) -500w coolermaster psu, -windows 10 pro (not activated). CPU and GPU at stock speeds. And I solved the problem getting it to post and now have been using it for about a week. I did a PC reset and wiped both ssd's and all seems good now. Except, when I play high GPU games like ghost recon wildlands and insurgency sandstorm I have alot of texture flickering and just generally not the best looking graphics. In these games my GPU hits 99% load. Iv noticed my bios version is p2.30 and there is a newer one p2.50 I could flash. Just wondering if that would make any differences? Iv never done bios flash and I'm relatively new to all of this. Could the bad textures mean I need a better GPU? Like a 1070ti? I'm on a 1080p 144hz monitor using a dp cable. Any help would be appreciated. I just really want this to be working properly and have my games look better. Thanks, -joel
  5. Hey thanks, but what exactly do you mean a backup of everything?
  6. Hello, I have few questions about my new build and I was hoping someone could just clarify some things for me. So I am going from an fx8350 to a ryzen 5 2600x with an asrock steel legends b450m mobo. I have never done a CPU and mobo change before, can I just unplug the old hardware and install the new stuff, connect my ssd with my windows 10 and all will work fine? Or is their more to it? I bought the PC used with windows 10 on it so I dont have an activation key and I'm not looking to reinstall windows however I will link my windows to my Microsoft account prior to the change, aswell as making a back up to a thumb drive. Last question is. Is their anything I need to download or delete befor I pull out the old hardware? Will windows install all the proper drivers upon the first boot up? Sorry if this is confusing, and thanks for any help it receives.
