  1. So I know that the static sound on WMR headsets comes from the USB not pumping out enough voltage to handle the USB extension. However I used to run my headset with 0 problems on the on-board back ports, with extension and everything, on an old shitty vitsuba master case. I just changed my case, got a NZXT H500, and all of the sudden the back ports an unusable if I use the USB extension. However the front ports (these aren't onboard) work fine with the extension. I really don't want to use the front ones because of cable management related reasons. And the ports worked fine with my other case. Any idea how could I fix this? My mobo is a gaming carbon pro x470
