  1. I had a tv that would auto dim the brightness randomly. It was caused by a power saving feture in the settings menu. It wont hurt to Try messing around with the monitor settings, hope this helps.
  2. Just bought this new tv today , its my first time ever owning something like this and i dont know how to calibrate the picture.
  3. Anyone know where i can start troubleshooting this issue? Zotac Gefore 1060 6gb
  4. Well ive used my other hdd with windows 7 and it boots just fine. So i know my other components are working fine. Im about to get out of work so ima going to stop by and get another usb to boot windows with. I hope thats the issue. But i still would like to know how to reset or properly clean my ssd if possible. Im worried i corrupted something in it or my usb flash drive is corrupted. Im new to this stuff , any tips would help out
  5. I had to do a fresh install because i saved a overclocked profile on my gpu that was not working and i didnt know at the time i could erase it via safe mode boot. But now every time i try to do a fresh install i get a error code:0x8007025D. The evo 860 now shows 480gb of storage instead of the original 500gb it had when i bought it a month ago. And since did a advance fresh install i erased the os i had in it and all the stored programs so i cant just go back to it. Anyone know what i can do or how i can give it thorough clean using command prompt ? Im new to computers and any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated guys
  6. And hows does this compare to random reads or writes? (Like in web browsing or your computer having a easyer time processing stuff in the background witch sometimes might hinder some performance on older cpu's.) From what i understand those are what we, as a everyday user might occasionally make more use off ,rather than the speeds of reads and writes for data transfers witch only a small percentage of people actually use. Srry for all the questions , im just really curious to know or get a real grasp on picking the right parts for a build.
  7. i know that the cheaper ssd are dram -less but i don't understand how that would affect boot times or opening applications or games faster or if its noticeable
  8. okay that clears up some of my confusion, but is their any difference in boot times of a 80$ SSD from a 30-40$ SSD? or speed reduction when opening applications ?
  9. I currently own the 860 EVO SDD and although it maid a big difference making the switch from HDD i cant help but wonder what had missed out on if i bought the W D Black nvme m.2. They both cost nearly the same price! and only being 6-8$ more. although the m.2 is not the best in its class but also not worse or bad like some intel m.2. Would i be wrong to think its worth having instead of the 860 EVO sata SSD? And would it make a difference in game downloads? it took my 860 3 hours to download Battlefield1 , could of it been possible to save 1 hour too 30 minutes of download time if i had gone with the budget nvme m.2?
  10. Good news, it now flashes past those 2 start up screens and into windows 10 with the 1060 at 1080p but i got greedy and changed the boot arrangement in bios so it wouldn't even bother flashing those screens and it basically fucked everything up again lol Thnx for the help, ima re DDU the driver and just have to live with the 1 second flash past the screens into windows 10.
  11. that's what im doing right now, maybe the fresh install will fix it I hope.
  12. It magicaly booted into bios , thank god. Now what can i do?
  13. could it be the APU graphics? I read that any other graphic driver must be uninstalled before installing a new GPU.
  14. yes it does, im able to get past this if I wait 2 minutes then it starts windows. I checked system information and its reading the 1060 but every time I boot up I have to deal with this blue screen.
