  1. I have an external mic, which is shure MV7 so i dont think it is the microphone issue, considering, i have tried different headphones
  2. Hi everyone! have an issue with sound, relating bluetooth. I have several pairs of bluetooth headphones, since my setup is wireless, and everything was working fine, until one day i just booted up my pc and something was broken. The headphones i used were “momentum true wireless 3” and while the pc connected to them via bluetooth, in the playback tab of “sound” the stereo option was disconnected. As most of us know, there two options when you have a mic in headphones, first being a “hand free” sound option, usually used for calls, and the second one is “stereo”. the option for “stereo” was grayed out with a red icon for disconnected, however the hands free option worked fine. When i right clicked to connect, nothing happened. i tried several options to resolve the issue, but nothing worked for me. I tried sfc check through “windows powershell” and “command prompt”, tried the same to helthcheck the a2dp, tried reinstalling the drivers, reinstalling the adapters and network for bluetooth, searched for web, tried with different pair of bluetooth headphones, and the issue was the same. Then, i tied to connect on my laptop, and everything worked perfectly fine there. Through voicemeter on the main pc, i found out that the wdm sound option is completely missing for my headphones while other 2 sound codes were working fine. has anyone seen this issue? Or any idea what can i do? The “hands free” audio in playback is working fine, but i cannot turn on the “stereo” option.
  3. I don’t know about temps, the 2080 super fe in my case is 70 deg average without any additional modifications including any extra case fans. If the technology in evga is standard in terms of cooling, is it really necessary to undervolt? 85 deg for example is a normal temperature. Maybe any ideas on any other case? i move a lot of towns and countries due to work, therefore i need a max specs in sff case. i dont know about cpu since it is a top last gen, might be an upgrade but later, but the gpu, is an interesting one, although the dimensions fit, i dont know what to do with this new gpu situation
  4. Good day to everyone! I recently reinstaled windows on my pc and laptop, and i did a lot of reinstalations in the past on different pc's. Now, as many might know, reinstalling windows and instaling every program and files on your pc can be frustrating, and apart from that sometimes a clean instalation of windows may cause different problems for unknown reasons. So any time i reinstall windows, i usually remember the files and reinstall anything necesarry. Then, after reinstalation i use "restoro" to check the system stability and repair it if needed, as well as make a save point of the system after i instaled everything properly. However, i have a lot of software and files that i am using in everyday to day life. I have an external drive that i copy all the files that i need usually, but that doesnt mean that the reinstalation is not frustrating in some cases, especially if i have 2 pc's. Therefore i tried to find a solution for this problem. Now, i have 2 pc's, one of which is a custom build one in Ghost s1 case, and the other is a MSI prestige laptop. So if i to backup my pc's in any way, i have a few options avaliable: MSI laptop has a software called MSI system image recovery, which copies the files to an external usb or any drive, CD, or via internet. But what it actually makes is a recovery drive, which means it is essentially a boot usb drive with windows 10 on it. This provides a clean instalation of windows using a usb drive if the system fails in the future. The other options that are included in windows, and it goes for both of my pc's, are: 1) Archive system in windows settings that copies the personal files on to a drive 2) System recovery tool that is esentially the same thing as MSI system image recovery 3) Disk image, which is a tool that copies your entire drive, in order to recover it if something goes wrong Considering all these factors, the best option for me would be a creation of disk image after a clean windows reinstalation, so any time, if my system fails, i can get the drive and restore my system to a fresh start with everything needed saved. As if nothing happend. This is a convinient way of reinstaling windows, so you dont have to worry about reinstaling programs, software, drivers, etc. But! there are some dificulties with all these plans. The disk image cannot be backed up on a usb, i have no idea why, although in a lot of tutorials there is a way to back up on a usb. it didnt work for me. therefore i could have used an external program, but all of them are rubish considering you need to pay or they need to be installed at all times, etc. So the main questions are: 1) Is there a way to completely copy your pc? so that in case your system dies or malfunctions, you can reboot and restore your pc to its original state with clean windows, all your personal files, drivers, software etc, considering that your copy is in perfect condition 2) Using a old software "Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" in the control panel, you can create a disk image. However, some tutorials show that it can be created on a usb with enough capacity using NTFS format. but it didnt work for me, it only shows that "cannot back up to this external drive" (there was enough capacity on a usb, and it was formated in NTFS, but no luck) is there a way? 3) If a usb doesnt work, i have an external 2TB hard drive, but i have 300GB of files there, will it be a good idea to back up there? will the disk be formated? 4) If the only way to create a system image is through a hard drive can i save 2 system images? one from my laptop, and one from my pc? If there are alternatives to reinstaling clean windows with drivers, files, softwares, tools etc, please let me know, all that i found was this information. Thank you very much for your patience, i appretiate your help.
  5. Good day to everyone! One year ago i build a system in Ghost S1, system specs: CPU - Intel core i7-9700k CPU cooler - Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition Motherboard - Asus Rog Strix z390-i GPU - Nvidia RTX 2080 Super Power supply - Corsair SF750 Platinum Ram - Corsair Vengance 32gb SSD 1 - Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe SSD SSD 2 - WD SN750 1TB NVMe SSD Case - Ghost s1 And now, with the new hardware that came out in september 2020, i want to upgrade my system. I did a lot of research about the hardware and compatability list, and as i understood from my research, i can make the following changes: I can replace my CPU with a new intel version, however i would need a new motherboard, since intel doesnt support the old motherboards with new CPU. I can also upgrade my CPU to a Core-i9, however, with Core-i9 in mind i would need a tophat for ghost s1 and a liquid cooler. Finally i can upgrade my GPU to an RTX 3080. But this is where the main trouble comes in. New Founders edition cards have new cooling method wich is unideal for sandwich layout cases, this means that the founders edition card is of the charts. Another problem is the fact that most of the cards are 2.2 slot or higher, this means that pretty much all the cards cannot fit. The gpu dimensions for Ghost s1 Mark 2 are: Dual-Slot 143 (H) x 45 (W) x 305 (D) mm Where as the new dimensions for Ghost s1 Mark 3 are: Dual-Slot up to 145 x 45 x 305 mm Here are the cards that theoretically should work in Ghost s1 Mark 3: AMD Radeon RX 6800 ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti TURBO EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER BLACK GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER XC GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC BLACK EDITION GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 BLACK GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 BLACK GAMING LAUNCH EDITION EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 BLACK GAMING EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 XC3 BLACK GAMING GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti TURBO GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti WINDFORCE OC GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3070 EAGLE OC GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3090 TURBO INNO3D GeForce RTX 3070 TWIN X2 OC MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AERO NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER AMP ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AMP MAXX ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti TwinFan (sorry for the inconvenience of reading this list, copy and pased tool didnt work properly) Now, out of all the cards that can be seen from the list, an ideal card would be EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 BLACK GAMING. Since it has a normal way of cooling as well as, its dimensions are as follows: Height: 4.38 in - 111.15mm Length: 11.23 in - 285.37mm Width: 2.2 Slots Now to the main questions, why i wrote all these specs: 1) First of all, any suggestions on what to upgrade, or replace in the system? (apart from the case, since i dont want to change it for my convinience of SFF for personal reasons) 2) Secondly, will the EVGA card fit into a Ghost s1 Mark 2 not Mark 3 3) Lastly, if it doesnt fit, which options are there if i want to switch to RTX 3080 Thank you for your time, much appresiated!
  6. Ive heard that the shadow rock LP fits the motherboard, but will it be able to cool such cpu?
  7. Any best allrounder between mini itx motherboard? Since the asus one has the mist features and benefits (might be wrong though)
  8. which board would be similar to performance if i to swap it out?
  9. Good day to you all! i am in trouble with the compatibility of the cpu cooler and the Asus rog strix z390-i gaming motherboard. i am building a ghost s1 with rtx 2080 super and intel I7-9700k. everything seems fine, however, the only cooler that was the best on the market is the noctua nh-l12, but it went out of production!!! which is terrible!!! and the only choice that is left from noctua is the new noctua nh-l12s! but! there is a giant issue, it is not compatable with the asus z390! since the motherboard has a vrm heatsink and mechanically doesnt fit. Which leaves me with nh-l9x64, but it is terrible when it comes to such cpu (I7-9700k) the temps are around 79-89 degrees! So there is no cooler from noctua, i searched for different ones, all cpu coolers that loque sugests for ghost, are either not available or from a no-name brand, which i dont trust too much. There was also a German cpu cooler The black ridge, but it has the same situation as the noctua l12s. on different forums, people just either remove the vrm heatsink or cut down the cooler so it would fit, but any of these suggestions are not cool) i dont really want to diy this system as i want it to be perfect. Need HELP! suggestions, anything will help!
  10. I want to slip the keyboard under it, so my hand would be on the table, but the original stand doesnt let me do it
  11. No unfortunately not the one that clamps, since i have a strange desk, its closed on the other side, so i need a standing one
  12. Tried the second solution, didnt work out, ot becomes too raised, and the legs on the stand is too wide, therefore the raiser is just way too big. what kind of vesa mount?
  13. Hey guys! Just wanted to know if there is an option on changing the msi optix stand for a more saving space one. Since the original is too big. But i serched the web and didnt find any information at all. Can i for example switch it out to a dell one? Since del is quite nice for space saving, the bottom is flat and it has the same arm. Any ideas? I just need the actual stand not a mounting arm. Any compatible ones?
  14. Hey guys! Just wanted to know your suggestions, about gpd p2 max. I recently was thinking of buying an ultra thin laptop, for daily use, and came to the conclusion that only things i do is work, such as powerpoint, word, exel, a little bit of gaming not too hardcore (i have a desktop for that) and mostly watching videos. (Sometimes work with adobe premiere or photoshop) So i wanted to get a decent ultrabook, that will give me all necessary features: good battery life, good speed, all needed essentials, such as webcam, ports. As i was looking around, i didn't want expensive like xps 15 which in uk, base price is 1300£ and it is a bit too thick. Couldn't find anything great, so found this gpd, but concerned if it will be a good choice, very skeptical about such pc with intel m3. Thank you for suggestions)
