  1. The gpu I ha e doesn't have a 6 pin connector and the PSU doesn't have enough wattage to power it, that's why I wanna solder a 24 pin connector to it as the it could possibly supply the 75watts
  2. The GPU I wanna use doesn't have an power connector, it supposed to get all it's power from the pcie slot
  3. It has an external power brick that's only 65 watts lol
  4. Hey, I have this old desktop that I wanna throw an old low-power gpu in. However this motherboard looks like a hybrid between a laptop and desktop board as it's powered by a barrel connecter, uses laptop ram, doesn't have a power supply, etc. However it does what seems to be a spot for a 24 pin connector, so my thought is that if I were to solder a 24 pin connector to the board and then plug my gpu in, it should work as it only requires 75watts. But is this a safe/good idea?
  5. i have have 48v phantom power thing and it still too low and if i plug it directly into my pc, it wont even work
  6. im prob just gonna use it for gaming and ya i might just return it
  7. hey, so i bought a neewer nw-700 mic kit (with the mic arm, pop filter, phantom power). everything seems to be set up correctly, but the mic doesn't seam o be picking up much audio, whether its my voice or my keyboard. i even put the mic volume to max. ive done some digging and found out that a dac, audio interface, sound card or amplifier could help me. which of those is the best and are they any good options for around 35 CAD. (or if theres another fix, like a application i could install) any help would be great https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01D4KYRYC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. It's a piece of wood with four hole for the monitor to be attached on by screws lol
  9. I could do that but I would prefer to keep the monitor I have now because I spent a bunch of time making a wall mount for it by myself, and the monitor dies work with the adapter just not with my new Pc
  10. The monitor works on other computers and laptops, but I do agree I have a high suspension that it's the cables fault
  11. Lol the gpu didn't come with a cable and I have an adapter VGA to hdmi and the you has a HDMI port, I could try getting a displayport adapter tho
  12. So I have this pretty old lg flatron L192WS which I tried to connect to my PC via HDMI (it's a VGA cord but I have an adapter). However, it won't seem to "connect" to the PC. The monitor recognizes that something is connected but it doesn't actually display anything. I did buy a good new monitor which does work but I want to use the lg as a second screen which I can't cuz it don't work PC specs: -asus b450m-a prime -msi GTX 1660ti -Amd ryzen 2600 -gskill 8g ram
