  1. Greetings everyone. I'm in need of help. As i recently killed my Corsair Strafe RGB (Mk 1, read: spilled drink) and its now quite dead, im in need of a new keyboard. After looking at several candidates i ended up with mostly 2 (if you ask why 2 only, well im from EU and prices here arent very neat due to pandemic and poor economy where im at). If it helps any further my max budget is 189$. If you ask why not go Corsair again ? - As i mentioned price went up to heaven due to pandemic on all of them models in my country so i cannot do it. In any event the two i'm struggling choosing between are Razer Black Widow Elite and Kingston HyperX Alloy Elite RGB. Issue is in my 4 days of browsing both Youtube, various forums, websites and even Amazons sites i been seein a decent amout of people sayin various things about them two keyboards. When it comes to Razer some people claim the Kailh green switches are bad in general, and even worse for gaming. Some go and claim plastic body of keyboard itself (of the particular model) is also very flimsy and prone to bending. When it comes to Kingstons's HyperX Alloy Elite people also stated various issues from flimsy easy to escape keys, to some keys randomly fail within weeks/ months and coil whine from RGB strip it haves on top of its body. Now i dont know a zilch about them two keyboards as i never ever used them in my life so idk if these claims are just string of bad luck for certain people or does it happen quite often. The only mechanichal keyboard i had thus far was the Corsair Strafe with MX Cherry Red's so basically that is my only experience with authenthic MX keys. So i guess my question to anyone here is - how good is Black Widow Elite ? How are them Razer Green Switches (as they are only kind i can buy in my country unfortunately) and are they really bad as people claim or is it just bunch of hooey ? When it comes to anyone owning Kingston's keyboard - only question i have is are you folks happy / ok with it ? If not, why ? At this point any other keyboard that you folks can recommend would mean a world to me if, by any chance these two i mentioned are at some flaws / issues. My only critteria is - no TKL type and prefferably i'd need to have a wrist rest cuz without one my wrists are killing me during gaming seanses xD. As for them Macro keys - dont need em, just ordered Razer Naga Trinity so il have plenty of keys for that, media keys however - would be nice, but if due to price cannot be - all cool. Sorry for long text and thank you in advance for any help, tip and time spent to help out.
  2. Sorry for wrong posting place on my behalf. Gonna open a thread.
  3. Hello everyone. For year and half im proud owner of Sound Blaster Zx sound card, and thus far its been great, esspecially for my Audio Technica MTH-50. Recently i bought new set of speakers ( Logitech Z623 ) and i been running into problems. You see, whenever i wanna swap to either using headset or speakers i literally disconect 3.5mm jack on the back to plug in another device, wich is fine. My issue is whenever im in Sound Blaster Pro Studio control panel, under Speakers / Headphones tab i cannot switch from Headphones to Speakers (when speakers are connected to sound card). Whenever i try to do that, there is literally no sound whatsoever in Speakers mode, when i click Headphones - sound is back again. Now i would like to know why i cannot get that option in control panel to switch and why its always stuck just on headphones. If anyone haves ideas or any other advice it be greatly appreciated i tried googling issues - no luck whatsoever. Im also using latest drivers from official SB website, ty in advance for help.
  4. Cool, thnx guys il take a look Much appreciated If you got any other suggestions pls dont hesitate to say
  5. Ah i see, thank you I tried looking LG and Predator i mentioned up there on Rtings but it seems that models arent nowhere to be found, only their alternatives (Z35P and other LG) for example, unless im searching wrong.
  6. Thanks for your input and help as well, say you mean the LG that i mentioned or another model ?
  7. Thanks for help and reply, yeah i was already looking at TFT central, display ninja and now the site you mentioned, as well as user reviews. The reason why i asked for peoples input of X34P is i dont wanna end up buying another expensive monitor wich might decide to fail on me within less then 4-5 months. Thank you once again
  8. So im lookin for new IPS, G-Sync, 34 inch new monitor (curved or not - doesnt matter to me) since my Dell Alienware AW3418HW died after only 4 months of using it (bunch of dead horizontal and vertical pixes) and before anyone asks I cant return the monitor cuz its bought in another country and shipping it back would cost me more then 70% of brand new monitor in my country. Anyhow im lookin for new monitor and after debating i got stuck with few choices (im sure i wont go Alienware again however) between Acer Predator X34P and LG 34UC89G-B altough im leaning more to that X34P. Idk what to choose so i'd love to hear oppinions of X34P owners. Some people say they had to like return monitor 3x times due to flickering after a few months (some say it was DP cable that fixed their issues), some say G-Sync was at fault right out of the box and some say their panel had horrible backlight bleed. Some people even told me to go straight of the bat for ASUS PG348Q wich is costly as hell where i live so i cannot do that. If its any help max budget i can go to is about 700-900 $. I mostly play FPS and TPS titles and some ocassional RPG's from time to time. I think my PC specs should be fine for any 34 inch monitor i choose (Ryzen 2700X, ASUS GTX 1080 Ti, G.Skill TridentZ 16 GB 3400 Mhz), and no i dont plan on streaming or stuff like that. If you guys got any other propositions for monitor that fits parammeters i asked of i'd be mostly appreciated as well as any help you can provide me. Thank You in advance for time and help.
