    Managed to do a clean wipe and and reinstall but now its says it cant activate because a windows 10 home was previously activated on the device... so i wont allow my win 10 pro to activate properly. It does say in the settings that my windows version is Windows 10 Pro however.

    Yeah that didnt work it came up with; Error: 50 Setting an edition is not supported with online images.

    So do a normal reinstall from my current os or uninstall it first?

    Yes i've done that, but it runs into an error and after looking around and asking the company who supplied it they said the keys they have don't support upgrading

    The key i have for win 10 pro wont upgrade my version. How do I got about reinstalling windows with my new key? Do I do it as normal and add a new key or is there something different? Will I have to do a complete fresh install?

    All good, that's what I was saying in my post is that I would go for the Pro but my ram is too tall and there's not enough clearance where the the non pro Dark Rock 4 doesn't extend over the ram and, as you said, will still be more than enough. I was just having problems with my old cooler that when my processor boosts to 4.9ghz it reaches 100°c as my cooler couldn't keep it cool.

    Upgrading my cooler as it's not good enough for my i7, so was just wondering if the Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 would be suitable for an i79700k, I would go for the Dark Rock Pro 4 but that is way too big for my case. Alternatively I was looking at the NZXT Kraken M22 single 120mm aio as a full 2 120mm rad doesn't fit inside my case. Thanks!

    Ok, you guys definitely helped out there. Thanks! Could you recommend any good coolers? I was thinking of the NZXT Kraken M22 120mm AIO as a 2 rad AIO doesn't fit in my case as my ram is quite tall and for the same reason a large air cooler probably wont fit either.

    Is it normal for it to boost even at idle? nothings running and it will go up to 4.9 and back down almost immediately and constantly?
