@rice guru Thanks man! i did not think about this analog and digital thing. I bought this chinese DAC (AGPTEK) mainly because it had a built-in amplifier. The sound from integrated audio chip is very low. So basically i wanted to connect this DAC with my laptop to amplify the audio signal. Can you recommend any other arrangement or equipment how can amplify the sound from my laptop?

Hello, I recently bought a digital to audio converter amp to use with my laptop. My laptop has standard 3.5mm audio out jack. While the DAC supports Optical and Coaxial Audio Inputs. Can i use a "3.5mm to coaxial audio cable" to connect my laptop with DAC? Cheers!
