  1. Hi, I have a pair of Logitech Z506 Speakers (https://www.logitech.com/assets/33015/4/z506620-002649005326gsamr.pdf), which are currently plugged into the green audio port on my PC. To use headphones with these speakers there is an 3.5mm input on the front right speaker to plug into. My headphones are "HyperX Cloud Pro Gaming" (https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/headsets/cloud-gaming-headset). When I plug the headphones into the 3.mm input on the front right speaker using the separate headphone/mic jack that came with the headphones, I'm unable to reach the mic input back into the PC. Would it work if I get an extension cable like this (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/38931?PPC=Y&gclid=Cj0KCQjwy97qBRDoARIsAITONTKCZBwSgYLOpvC57Yx1Ou2W3OGYDknYWFC_93khGLCjqgF-SBZ8UpcaAsJrEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds) to plug the mic into? My other only option is to unplug the speakers and replug the headphones every time I want to swap Thanks
  2. Ah thank you!! Working now , Ill have to remember to check aspect ratio as well as resolution I guess?. I just tested CSGO and it worked UW straight away too. Well at least I know I havent got anything outside of games setup wrong now. Thanks
  3. Hi, I have a brand new PC and monitor. The monitor is a LG29wk500 (2560x1080 Ultra Wide). I have tried to launch both Overwatch and Classic WoW, and when I do the games are only displaying on the centre of the screen and not stretching out across the entire screen. When I go into the settings of the games, 2560x1080 is selected as the display size. What have I missed? (not sure if its a Blizzard only thing, I'm downloading CS Go now off steam to see if it does the same thing.) Thank you
  4. i cant flip the psu fan because then it would just be hitting a wall in the case. i might go the wood route
  5. Oh hello neighbour! Bunnings is pretty close! (officeworks isnt lol), if i was to get some wood from bunnings should I just get one big piece to go under the case or like 2 side railings>
  6. I'm a tad worried about leaving my new PC on the carpet in the room as the psu fan is on the bottom of the case. Are any of these a good alternative to place under pc and on top of carpet? https://www.kmart.com.au/product/eva-floor-tiles-4-pack---black/126763 https://www.kmart.com.au/product/suction-shower-mat/2106848 https://www.kmart.com.au/product/silicone-pet-feeding-mat---large/2467316 They're pretty weird alternatives i know ? but to get a 'chair mat' from another store is like $50 and a long drive away lol Thanks

  8. Hi, I have a question about this LG Monitor. LG says it supports AMD FreeSync but only when connected to the DisplayPort, however the monitor doesn't even have a DisplayPort connection?? https://www.lg.com/au/it-monitors/lg-29WK500 How does this make sense? Thanks

  10. where abouts can i check the v? i think according to the mobo manual page 14 it should be on the bottom? http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf
  11. Hi, I cant seem to get the RGB working on the 3 front fans on my Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 RBG case. I'm a massive noob so I have trouble understanding everything but from what I gather the case came with a RGB splitter connected (there are 3 cords that use a connector to become 1). I tried plugging the end of this cord (what I believe is the RGB cord) into the LED_CPU port on the mobo but the fans are not lighting up. Are the fans supposed to light up before any changing any settings? (havent installed windows yet) Any idea what is going on? mobo: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf case: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-lite-5-rgb/ Thank you

  13. Hi, So I know the general recommendation is that 1080p on monitors over 24in can look a bit less than ideal, I was just wondering it this also applies to Ultra Wide monitors? I only ask because I just read that the vertical height of the 29 inch ultra wide monitor has true vertical height of a 25 inch monitor. Just wondering if it still advised that 1080p stay below 24in even on ultra wide monitors that have a true vertical height below the diagonal? Cheers
