  1. Did this to, just figured i might as well do it when I was cleaning the cpu socket. saw a video on some dude dunking it on everything so I did the same
  2. So I did everything you told me and the outcome was that it was able to boot one time and as it loaded windows it went black screen and no display after that so I turned it off then Sometimes when I turn it on it blinks LED 1 one time then the HDD LED , 4 , 3 stays on then just 4,3 loops restarting the computer by itself until it reaches 3,2,1 at the end and stays on Locked in like that. No display on any of the restarts. Another thing that has been fixed was a capacitor that was broken and had no contact with the board anymore. It was a 470uf 16v cap so I replaced it with a 470uf 35v cap. I also replaced the CMOS battery and did another CMOS Reset. One stick of 8GB DDr3 1333 REG Ram in, 5680 In, and a Radeon HD 2400 PRO for a video card. Pictures shown below.
  3. Alright, I'll go to a micro center near by and buy some cleaning products later on. In the event that the cleaning does not work either what would be other solutions? Also would you know what processor came in the motherboard originally? I got this Motherboard lended to me with no CPU or RAM so its why I brought the other parts
  4. no, This board came with none so I don't know what processor it had
  5. so heres the story... my CPU came in today its a x5680, I put it in the motherboard and have a black screen as I power it on with LED Lights blinking (4,3,2) along with the orange power light. What could be my problem? I put another x5680 in and took out the other and gives me different lights then shuts off. i recorded it here. Video 1 will be The first processor I got and Video 2 is the second processor I got. I will also share the ram sticks I received. An Extra note that I put the two sticks that made 16GB in Ram Slots 1 and 2. Fan Blows at 100% Checked for bent pins/Debris , Hard drive has windows 10 in it and is hooked on SATA0 , Already did CMOS Reset RAM STICKS CPU BUNDLE X5680 (First Processor) Second Processor (X5680) VIDEO 1 First Processor VIDEO 2 Second Processor
  6. If I choose not to go for a stock cooler what would be a viable option?
  7. The holes follow a normal LGA 1366 Socket B mounting
  8. One of the bridges that doesn't have a fan tends to get realllly hot compared to the other one (that was a tiny oem fan) the one with the fan was still kinda hot till I replaced the thermal paste and added Grizzly Kryonaut paste in both bridges. Now the bridge that has the tiny fan doesn't get hot anymore but the other one without a fan and just a aluminum heatsink gets extremely hot. I plan to run 2 x5680 in the future but for now just one x5680. I was thinking of replacing the one in the bottom right with a raspberry pi's cpu cooler. The 52Pi Low profile in the picture
  9. I really want to put a aftermarket Cooler since this is going to be a server I want to have it get its best cooling it ever had other then OEM
  10. So I have a motherboard taken out of a Dell Precision T5500 and I am wondering if there are any CPU Coolers you guys would recommend? This board is very much none Proprietary so it can fit any cooler really. I plan on running dual x5980s in this Motherboard in the future. I also have another question on Northbridge and SouthBridge Cooling, I was planning on buying a 52Pi ice tower for these but unsure if i should. I plan on running this as a server. Thanks to anyone that can help me out and give me information and recommendations.
  11. I was thinking of using one of these to cool down the north bridge and south bridge of a T5500 Dell Precision Motherboard can it handle it? May be a stupid idea.
  12. I know I'm not the first to say this so I am interested in doing the same thing. The ol PHAT PS3s tend to suffer from heat and would like to water cool the system. My problem is I can't find any waterblock designed for a PHAT PS3. Koolance and OCool aren't available anymore so I wonder if anyone can help me out in finding a good waterblock to use?
  13. okay since this computer doesnt come with onboard graphics my questions are. Can this computer be able to run a EGPU because as i opened it i saw a free pci-e slot that wasnt being used. i was thinking i can hook it up to a egpu yes or no? This computer runs an i5 vpro i was thinking if i put a upgrade cpu in it like an i7 4790s will it bottleneck modern gpus? Finally, Does intel processors come with intregrated graphics? most specifically the i7 4790s and the i5 vpro
  14. And how about an i7? Also i heard theres a m.2 on this thing for a ssd
  15. My god your a life saver but dangg this thing i found really has all that my lord, i heard i can upgrade to an i7 but a certain i7 not just any, but can it go i9? Also what kind of ram should i get for it i wanna get another 8 gig for it
  16. Not sure yet i just wiped out the hdd it had in it , but it does have a intel i5 prov sticker on it
  17. Im wondering what upgrades can i do to it? And if anyone can link me the items u recommend for upgrades to this Aio i found in the streets
  18. Hello i need help as my computer told me there was another computer on the same ip address on my network. I am running my ps4 , phone , laptop and a pc on the router im using as a wifi extender. However theres problems like i said. I looked at windows system event logger and theres an error on tcp/ip im guessing thats where the error is and how do i fix this? On my router (used as wifi extender old to) i went into settings and all i did was change my passwords and disable dhcp in the lan settings, i couldn't change the ip of it to 192.168.1.2 as it said it would conflict the wans subnet or something. so all i did was change passwords and disable dhcp which made me connect my ethernet to connect to one of the lan ports (keep in mind this ethernet extends far away that connects to my main router which is a verizon fios router) How can i fix this? Ive tried connecting the netgear router to my pc , not having the pc connected to the wifi or ethernet same for the router no ethernet connected only Pc connected to it via ethernet. so i did that and it wouldnt let me connect to it even tried a reset using default settings and nothing. any idea on how to fix this? Also. Is there a way to cool down a router? bottom of this router likes to get hot so that worrys me about its lifespan (it is old i know its from 2013 but i do wanna extend its lifespan so it doesnt break on me)
  19. the WebUI is the old webUI of netgear like this one in this image https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiXpfrW_bPlAhVMU98KHbOUBD4QjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fkb.netgear.com%2F120%2FHow-to-configure-a-NETGEAR-DSL-Modem-Router-for-Internet-connection-with-Smart-Wizard&psig=AOvVaw1b_x8zHJ299F6Pv4c4lA-o&ust=1571975084082970 also reason why i wanna run a short ethernet cable is because my router is to far. its in my mothers room and i have several devices to connect to the internet but the signel is poor in my room to be able to connect to that router my main one that is.
  20. So as the title states i wanna have this old netgear router as a wifi extender so that my room can have wifi signal and so that i can run short ethernet cables to my pc. So ive connected the router throught its lan port via ethernet to the other router. my problem is when i try to connect to the old router it leaves me to connect to my main router instead of the old router im using as a extender. also i couldnt change its ip from 10.0.0.1 because of it saying its messing with something in the WAN Area which i have no idea about. How can i fix this? Im also learning cyber security so when i monitor my traffic all that comes up is ips that say who is who is something like that in wireshark
  21. Already have it was just wondering
  22. Does a corsair cxm 650w have the connections and cables to connect a nitro 5700 xt?
  23. Yikes ill have to find out if my cable is even long enough, plan on getting the new nitro and i have a corsair 650w psu
  24. So i have a case where the psu mounts from the top now if i wanted to hook up a gpu would it be okay to run the cable connector behind the motherboard if its long enough?
  25. Alright thank you id choose amazon but at the moment they are out of stock till October but biiz has what i want in stock
