  1. Issued Solved but don't know how to delete post.
  2. My whole system is ASUS minus my graphics card... till today. I swapped out my Red Dragon 5700 for ASUS STRIX 5700 and just by doing that Google Chrome now decides it's going to load up completely black; meaning the whole page is black, from menu bar down. I am able to find the actual menu and open it but when I select anything the screen stays black so I cannot see the actual "settings" that should be displayed. What I've already done: Uninstalled AMD graphic drivers Re-installed AMD graphic drivers Uninstalled Google Chrome Re-installed Google Chrome Does anyone have an F'n clue on how to fix this BS!? P.S. I already use Firefox & Brave - however my work requires me to use Chrome so I cannot operate without the crappy thing.
  3. I think I know what I did wrong... didn't specify my board as the Wi-Fi model giving me the wrong BIOS update! Trying it now, thanks!
  4. I've recently acquired a new AMD 3700X and ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard (which I upgraded from an ASUS STRIX X570 where I didn't have an issue updating BIOS) and when I go in to update the new BIOS, doesn't matter how I try doing it (USB - which has been reformatted to FAT32 or Internal Storage) I get the same error "Selected File is not a proper BIOS" - this is both trying the file as is upon extraction under its download name "ROG-CROSSHAIR-VIII-HERO-ASUS-0702" or through the use of the BIOSRenamer (as recommended by ASUS) to its new name "C8H.CAP" (I have also read through all the resources on ASUS' website to no avail) When I try to update via internet connection it says downloading and will stop around the 30% mark and stay that way for 20+ minutes, at which point I power down and restart with no actual update being accomplished. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? (I noticed Anthony just did all the memory testing on this board with the latest BIOS update)
