  1. This has been...very difficult for me to try and solve. My motherboard DOESN'T want to clock past 2133MHz at all. Initially I thought it was just my kit of RAM that I bought, but lo and behold, I used another kit of RAM and my PC refuses to POST. Onboard LED says it's a RAM problem. After 3 restarts, the RAM speed is reset back to 2133MHz. The motherboard's manual says that it supports up to 2666MHz (non OC'd) and 3200MHz (OC'd). I've used both Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB @ 3000MHz and Corsair Vengeance Pro, same capacity and speed. I'm not sure if there's that much of a difference between both RAM kits, but both don't POST. Will try and test with one RAM stick, but I highly doubt that'll help. I've checked my BIOS version, version 2901 being the latest. Checked firmware and other drivers that could affect this. Changed RAM slots. Checked the QVL list and it supports the Vengeance Pro kit (guessing universally as it doesn't have specific versions of RAM). I'm 99.9% likely thinking it's a motherboard issue since my motherboard says the max speed (shown in 2nd screenshot) for my Vengeance Pro kit is at 3000MHz. Any help/suggestions, please and thank you. COMPONENTS: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: ASUS ROG B450-F RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX & Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 3000MHz. PSU: EVGA 500W
  2. Now that you've mentioned "power switch." I realized that my front panel connectors, specifically the power switch connectors seemed...off. I have a mouth that I feed the FP connectors into, letting me plug all of them at once with ease. Seems like one of the power switch connectors weren't all the way in, thus having a loose connection. That solved my issue...and something so small, so subtle gave me grey hairs for two days.
  3. So me and a friend have been troubleshooting this issue down to the motherboard, tested different CPUs and power supplies, triple checked connections, checked for any bent pins in the socket and if any components have been broken off or moved. My system would either: Turn completely off as soon as I power it on, then continue to loop on and off. Loop on for a couple of seconds, off for a couple of seconds and then on again. Turn on, stay on, but no display at all prompting me to do anything. My monitor wouldn’t detect a signal. This has been a frustrating issue that has stopped me from doing productivity work. Yesterday my friend also brought his motherboard speaker, double checked for the right connections and upon turning on, gave us no sound, providing us no indication of what’s going on. Any bit of help would be wonderful, even if it’s just a small bit.
