  1. I can't join LTT Discord server!! Is there a glitch or somethin'? AAAAAAAA I used https://discord.com/invite/ltt! It lets me join, then it disappears really really fast before I can see any channels.. My Discord tag is Fennec#1000 and I've never been on the server before. I have 2FA and a verified phone number! No unicode in name and DM's were enabled when I tried to join. Is there a certain procedure to join? Please help!! reeeee ♥
  2. My bad for including “piracy” links, and thanks for removing them. Thank you for helping me with suggesting Ubuntu while updating me on EtchDroid’s compatibility. IDK why Ubuntu didn’t pop up in my mind. It still didn’t work out like I expected; showed the same message asking for a DVD/CD. I got in an online chat with a Microsoft support agent, they said the Media Creation Tool is required and that nothing else will work with flashing the “.iso” file unless I have another Windows PC on-hand. I did get Ubuntu installed, but I may have to try the piracy links tomorrow (which I will not provide), since I’m exhausted of spending hours again on it for today. Thanks, @LogicalDrm. Ubuntu and knowing EtchDroid’s compatibility got me a step further. [You can close this topic if-needed]
  3. Two days ago, I flashed a Windows 10 “.iso” to a USB drive (when I had Windows 8.1) so I could upgrade due to hardware incompatibility issues. Since yesterday at 2PM CST was when I started it to format my SSD to install Windows 10. It was either copying or verifying the files is when the flash drive quit working with the installation. I tried it again several times, and even used “diskpart” to clean the SSD and try again. I didn’t have any backup USB drives, and I have no place to go to reflash the iso because of COVID-19, so I was relying on my phone to do the work. I tried to re-download the iso from it’s official source (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO) and the webpage refuses to load on any browser I installed. I tried other pages to grab my ISO and nothing worked from that. I was relying on both “USB 2 ISO” and “Etchroid” to flash the iso, and they failed to flash. USB 2 ISO’s flashed USB drive posted to the USB with a black screen, saying I need to insert a DVD or CD. EtchDroid’s USB drive posted and successfully showed the Windows Setup UI (I guess like normal), except when I clicked “Install Now”, it would say I need a DVD/CD. I’m using a Google Pixel 1 (Not XL if that matters) to do this. All “.iso” images were pulled from whatever webpage I could find that had one. I even tried to extract the “.iso” and copy it’s contents to the drive directly; failed. I’m not for sure if it’s a partitioning issue, or if I’m doing it all wrong. Bad times not being able to go anywhere for help from an epidemic, eh? My phone is NOT ROOTED.
  4. Update: Fixed the GPU, BABY! Look here for how I repaired the darn thing (Tutorial Created by: Linus himself): Bring your video card back from the dead! - Oven method [LinusTechTips]
  5. Although I'd hate to be the one saying "you can't", but unfortunately, I have to. As I've been an experienced Windows user, I haven't seen any programs that can modify the Start menu. I have seen a few designed specifically for Windows 8.1, but they only really change the look and animations within the Start menu. If you were able to remove the square holding the program's icon, it'd probably be hard to see where to move the programs inside of the Start layout. But hey, it doesn't have to end there! If you are familiar with C++ or XAML, you could probably program something to get where you're trying to get to, which is your desired customization. I'd also try searching the internet tirelessly, as it always works, just to find what you're looking for. It's really just a 50/50 chance, but you may end up finding it if you look hard enough! Be on a lookout for the new Start layout, too, here: https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/24/20708355/microsoft-windows-10-accidental-release-windows-insiders-start-menu https://www.windowscentral.com/hands-new-start-menu-windows-10-build-18947
  6. As I may have been thinking with my new in the box Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 TI OC Edition, I may have a CPU that doesn't support this specific Graphical unit. From my tests and observations: I've attempted numerous "startup's" via this GPU and I never get a single post. So, what I did was I used the integrated graphics located on my ASUS B250 MINING EXPERT (as I use this for gaming - lol) and I was able to get a successful post! Immediately after, I decided to go to my Device Manager to see what was the issue. It somewhat said that it wasn't getting a full communication with the device, as the GPU doesn't have an external PSU port and runs straight from PCI-E Gen3.0. I was for sure that I, too, supplied the entire system with fluid electricity, because I was able to get a boot with the same GPU inserted via PCI-E, and in the Mini PCI-E ports (with riser) located on the board. I then disabled the Intel integrated graphics and transferred my Standard HDMI cable into the GPU, and it was able to get a display through, except it was cursed (as shown below). Before I go out and buy a new CPU for my unit, are there any other ideas to get my system up and running with a clean output on my monitor(s)? I've basically tried everything under the sun, and nothing is working out. Thanks for your response!! ^^
  7. Now that I see your video, it may actually be a drive error, in which you may need to boot to Windows Recovery Options and "clean" your drive through CMD. https://neosmart.net/wiki/system-recovery-options/
  8. If you install Windows 10 directly to your primary drive, as I can see your SSD, please delete every partition and reinstall Windows 10 regularly. After that is completed, input your activation ID (usually located underneath of a LapTop), as demonstrated: Press "WIN + R". Type "slui 3" Register your product with the ID provided when you first purchased your product and Windows will create recovery partitions and install drivers. If you are unable to get your computer up and running, either... a) Complete an activation troubleshooter window [Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshooting]. b) Contact your OEM or Microsoft Support hotline to get your model updated with your upgraded hardware (if anything has been upgraded).
