  1. I ran sfc /scannow and did get an issue, checked through the logs myself and found out that apparently it's just a known issue with windows 10 that it flags windows defender as corrupted, but besides that everything is fine. I tried using Furmark and OCCT, but after digging through some forums I found out that they're... quite useless as newer GPUs are built against it and they just throttle down and such (however, I did accidently run a CPU benchmark on OCCT and found out my CPU can't handle benchmarks at all, from 45 to 95C in 30 seconds lol, friend's very surprised I managed to cause ryzen 5 2600 overheat shutdown) Unigine Heaven however has brought me the issue that I'm facing. I tried using OpenGL and DirectX 11 benchmarks, it happens with DirectX 11, but not as severe as it happens with games, however, it still happened, benchmark runs perfectly fine, but everything behind the game (all the applications such as discord, GPU-Z, Coretemp) would start lagging. OpenGL had that too, but it's almost non-existant
  2. Okay, thanks, I'll try them as soon as I'm able to
  3. Are there any DirectX stress test applications? I was recommended to record or take screenshots of the stress test (it will also be obvious if the card is partially fault just by seeing issues with the stress test)
  4. Mmm, no, that I've never heard of, I'll have to try that when I get home. I also contacted the guy who provided me with the PSU, he told me to give FurMark a try on my GPU to see if it's actually the problem and if not it's very likely the PSU not providing enough power
  5. 65-70 when gaming, the stock fan is more than capable of handling itself, stress test it did go over 75, so I didn't keep it up for too long cause, well, it's a stress test. RAM is also checked iirc and was good.
  6. Well, it's kinda what I meant with updating itself, they notify of a new driver and I update it as soon as I can. it's a 650W ChiefTec, can't tell the exact model right now since I can't check
  7. All of my friends are saying that there's definitely something wrong that I can't even stream/record even 720p 60FPS with my current build, in fact, one of them has the same CPU and runs an nvidia gtx 770 yet has no problems at all whereas I struggle with an RX 580 which is MUCH stronger compared to GTX 770
  8. Oh, no, I am a bit mistaken on the chipset driver then, the chipset driver is from aprox. a month ago, but the GPU Driver updates itself so it SHOULD be the latest one The bios was updated thruogh the bios itself
  9. Yes, both installed directly from the manufacturers, my motherboard is ASUS B450M-K if that changes anything.
  10. I'm running on latest windows 10 so I'm slightly confused as to how could it be an issue. Hardware issue... Depends on where it would be, I've definitely found that the issue is within the GPU.
  11. Hello, in advance I'll mention this - my GPU is ASRock AMD Ryzen RX 580 8GB Phantom Gaming X, my CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 2600, I'm running 2x8GB ram on XMP 3GHz DDR4 I've been having an issue with my GPU lacking in terms of performance, for example, when there's too much load on my GPU, everything outside the game crashes, for example, when running ReLive and/or Final Fantasy XIV with High (Laptop) graphics (which is medium high), my 2nd monitor tends to black screen and discord crashes, teamspeak I can only hear, but input crashes (doesn't register push to talk, makes weird noises on voice ativation) It happens with other games too so I had to tone down graphics and such, but after playing around with some calculators and "Can I run it" thingies, I found out that there's supposingly a bottleneck on my GPU. Could it be true and noticeable that my GPU is bottlenecking or are these not the ways that a bottleneck would show itself? How does even a bottleneck work and should I be worried about upgrading my GPU or should I consider replacing my GPU?
  12. I have managed to knock down the GPU load to 0% as I've found the issue. It's an inside AMD problem with relive - I looked up some information with my GPU having constant 100% load and it turns out ending "Radeon settings: Host Application" has solved it, my GPU load is now down to 0% and only at 500MHz Really sad I can't use shadowplay instead of relive
  13. nothing's really using it, the GPU is at 0%, could it be a flaw in GPU-Z?
  14. So I have a found a part of the problem with GPU load. It was ReLive (Instant replay and Instant gif) that was eating away at my GPU - Task Manager now shows 0% GPU usage, however, GPU-Z still says the load is at 100%.
