So..? Can i use it. Or can i just do it to test if there is an actual problem in the hp psu?

I7 3770, 8gb ddr3 1600mhz, rx580(powered by external psu.). I play destiny 2, cs go, apex etc. But the main issue is sometimes i get fps drops like a sudden drop from 144fps to 20 or 30 fps for like a sec. Mainly this issue is in fortnite. My setting in fornite is distance epic rest all low. Capped at 144fps.

Its an hp pc to which i added a gpu usuing a second psu. I cant upgrade the original psu cauz of the weird motherboard connector.

I get random fps stutters. I believe it might be the 12v rail

So i have an hp compaq 8300. I have a second psu for my gpu and hdd. Can i also use the second psu to power my cpu and only use the main hp psu to power motherboard?

Bro did u fix ur issue. I also have a stuttering issue. Im also suspecting the psu.

The first one was in creative. Dats y. Will most prob take it to shop now cauz its not only fortnite. D2 runs fine, r6 runs fine, metro redux runs fine. Only cs go and fornite has these issues and some small hiccups sometimes in other games not much eg in forza horizon 4 but dat happens rarely doesnt bother me. Thx for ur time. And one more thing. When i set my display to 144hz my memory clock goes to max and stays there. Thats normal yea?

Might be my computer psu. Cauz for gpu i have an external psu and the computer one the hp stock one is old. When fps drops all the usage % drops. Also the watts drop

Have already seen dat. All temps are below 80c
