  1. I am pretty certain opening them up technically does that. But I'll let someone more knowledgeable weigh in. But I don't want to wait for an RMA. I instead bought a replacement Corsair NRO92L for 11 dollars. If I did an RMA I think I would buy a used sf600 on ebay for around $40 so I had a backup during the time. It's my work computer and so waiting on RMA's (if my warranty was still valid) versus spending extra is economical in this case.
  2. Thanks posting your results. The corsair fan in my sf600 is rattling after 7 months. It is starting to get resistance to spin, and so instead of trying to lubricate it etc I am going to try to find another fan. I am not going to go with the noctua though as my case doesn't have enough airflow i think to use the 2500 rpm noctua versus the 3900 rpm corsair.
  3. Same here... I have a standalone Yamakasi monitor that gave out (still lasted 7 years though for the fraction of the price of Apple's cinema display). There seems to be boards for all the other versions of the LM2701Q1 series! I have been searching off and on for a month, and like you, have been reading into monitor display tech to see if there is some other generic board I could use, but haven't found anything with confidence that would work. Monitor control boards is such an esoteric subject. I don't know where to go for asking questions. If only there was someway to ask LG for a board!? So frustrating. The only google hit that I found is this no longer available board: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32879208195.html
