  1. From what I have gathered so far - they are both made by CWT. The Rmx has 0rpm mode, MSI does not - but thats not necessarily a bad thing, its better for internals and is still very quiet. The Rmx has a better fan (ML), some review mentioned agressive fan curve thou... The Rmx has cables with inline caps.
  2. The MSI also has 10y warranty, Ion - 7y. Not sure about postage paid.
  3. Help me choosing between the new Corsair RMx (2021), MSI MPG AxxxGF...or maybe a Fractal Ion Gold (cheapest of all)? Looking at 750-850W range. As a note, the RMx 850W is 20eur more expensive than the equal W PSU from others manufacturers I listed so might not be worth it, others are about 125eur.
  4. BeQuiet Straight Power 11 Gold Deepcool DQ-M Enermax Revolution D.F (650 or 750W) Best/quietest of these three in A+ tier? SP 11 is the most expensive of these by a small bit...not sure if worth it. The DF has that interesting reverse spin but worried it might fail faster because of it...also that fan looks somehow cheap plastic Can't find Revolution DF, SP11 on cybenetics
  5. thanks. What about fanless PSUs - any good or is it just a meme?
  6. For me a very important feature is what some manufacturers call 'eco mode' - when the fan stops or spins slower under low loads. Perhaps this should be added somehow in this tier list. For example, when looking at top tier S, it is unclear if those very expensive PSUs even have such feature.
  7. how to know/choose what series to go for? here's something new to put in tier list https://hexus.net/tech/reviews/psu/133034-fractal-design-ion-platinum-860p-860w/
  8. There are several models/series listed for each manufacturer in each tier, is the last one listed usually the best?
