Flying Sausages reacted to Kisai in Random Shut Offs/Restart
Random shut offs are cooling issues, usually the CPU trying to save itself. So I'd suggest checking there first.

They do, Linus already admitted that and people can't help themselves, that's why it is so prevalent. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if youtube tell/urge content creators to use them and give guidelines on which ones work best.

I caught that all-important moment on Social Blade. Figured I'd share it!
PS, I made this thread. I created the title and posted it with the screenshot below. Not sure how Dwane took over as OP, but if this shows up on WAN Show I'd like to have the credit

Flying Sausages got a reaction from Crunchy Dragon in Ryzen 4000 and X670 scheduled for late 2020
https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/ryzen-4000-and-x670-scheduled-for-late-2020.html
AMD is going to destroy Intel in 2020 with Zen 3 cpu and new gpu. I can't wait to see how this battle play out. Zen 3 are said to be on AM4 socket so I hope it does. X670 motherboard is going to be much better than X570 with the ridiculous chipset fan if I assume the X670 will not going to have the ridiculous chipset fan.

That's right baby, only 4 weeks away than this 64 core and 128 thread threadripper will be on sale assuming if there is no issue in the supply or any technical issue to delay the 3990x sale date.
@LinusTech 3990x is calling you, Mr. Tech Tips.

Featuring 22 cores, 44 threads, 4 - 5Ghz (all core @ 1.2V) clock and a whopping 380W TDP. Performance wise it is close to a 3960X (screenshot above is cinebench R20), there were also some rumors about the chip's motherboard modifications back in CES according to the source below:
(Source google translated from german)
Additionally, consumer 10th gens has been spotted on some benchmarks, being slightly faster than the i7-7700.

Thoughts: Just how many VRMs and power pins do you need to drive this thing. With the 3990X right around the corner, Intel better make this cheap or else no one will buy it. There is also the issue whether or not this post is legit, but chiphell has made a few accurate leaks before.

Flying Sausages reacted to 0x1e in Hard drive dying
Relocation is done automatically, there's nothing else you can do.
Once a drive starts dying then the drive is done. With each dead sector puts more strain on others which wears them out faster. Rinse and repeat.
There is only a certain amount of spare space on a drive, once you've used that up you will begin to lose data. By the time you realised that you've lost data it's too late, halve of the data is corrupt with no way to recover it.

just swap out the PSU for a 550w TXM since you're not gonna be needing that much wattage anyway. otherwise it's fine.
