  1. Nevermind I figured it out: TIMEOUT /T <timeinseconds> /NOBREAK >NUl del /Q/S <pathtofiles>
  2. PING localhost -n 1 >NUL del /q /s "C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X\testfolder" del /q /s "C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X\lol.txt" lol.txt gets deleted but testfolder doesn't. Directory of C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X 01/01/2020 10:44 PM <DIR> . 01/01/2020 10:44 PM <DIR> .. 01/01/2020 10:44 PM 0 lol.txt 01/01/2020 10:26 PM <DIR> testfolder 1 File(s) 0 bytes 3 Dir(s) 615,380,656,128 bytes free
  3. To test it I have changed 7200 to 10 PING localhost -n 10 >NUL RMDIR /Q/S X It worked but it deleted the entire folder, how about if just wanted the files or just some specific files inside the folder to be deleted without deleting the folder itself? and could you please breakdown the command for me so I understand how this works?. I tried these commands but they didn't work C:\Users\crest>PING localhost -n 10 >NUL C:\Users\crest>Del /Q/S C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X\New folder Could Not Find C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X\New Could Not Find C:\Users\crest\folder C:\Users\crest>Del /Q/S C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X\11.mkv Even though they exist according to dir: Directory of C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X 01/01/2020 10:12 PM <DIR> . 01/01/2020 10:12 PM <DIR> .. 01/01/2020 10:09 PM 0 11.mkv 01/01/2020 10:02 PM <DIR> New folder 1 File(s) 0 bytes 3 Dir(s) 615,379,709,952 bytes free C:\Users\crest\Desktop\X>
  4. For example let's say I have a folder named "X" on my desktop, I want that folder or the files in it to be deleted automatically after 2 hours have passed since I ran the script and I also need a way to cancel it if I don't want the files to be deleted anymore.Thank you.
  5. https://imgur.com/jkTDTDc real world performance. https://imgur.com/fRgJhoh It looks like there's no solution to speed the SSD up so I'll change this post to solved.
  6. This SSD is not my primary drive I'm planning to put my games on it because my intel 660p is filling up and since it uses qlc it's slowing down, right now it's empty.
  7. It's brand new. WD lifeguard is not compatible with this SSD so I used the dashboard software and run an extended smart test which didn't show any problem.
  8. No this SSD is rated up to 560MB/s read 530MB/s write. You can look up benchmarks.. it's clearly under performing.
  9. Hello, I just received my Western Digital blue 3D nand 500gb and installed it but after testing it with CrystalDiskMark I found that it's under performing.. My motherboard is the msi x570 mpg gaming plus and according to the manual all the SATA ports are 6gb/s "6x SATA 6Gb/s ports SATA3~SATA6 ports (from AMD® X570 Chipset) SATA1~SATA2 ports (from ASMedia ASM1061)". I plugged the SATA cable (provided with the motherboard) into the SATA1 port. UPDATE= I have tried with other sata ports the speed has improved a bit but it still doesn't reach the advertised speed. Needless to stay that everything is up to date so where did I go wrong?. Thank you. SATA 1 port. SATA 4 port.
  10. Everything is in order.?
  11. There are no dump files and I also have "WhoCrashed" which doesn't show any dump files too.
  12. Hello, at 12:30AM I was playing a game and paused it then switched to the desktop so that I could go eat something, I returned at approximately 1:04AM and found my PC OFF. This is a big deal since my PC settings are set to never turn it off unless I do it manually and it didn't overheat either, hell even stressing the PC with Prime95 and FurMark for hours didn't turn it off. There was no reason for it to initiate a shutdown no update nor anything and it's plugged to a UPS. (which means no power loss and it's just a normal one it can't control the PC) I've had this PC for 4 months now and this is not the first time this has happened and I already checked the task scheduler.Event viewer: https://imgur.com/a/RWdj9KE (I don't think that the LEDkeeper error is the cause since it happened 5 seconds after the shut down was initiated.)Specs:Nvidia GTX 1660.Ryzen 3600 cooled with a dark rock pro 4.MSI X570 gaming plus.Corsair lpx 3000mhz 8x2.Corsair RM750x.Intel 660p 1tb.Thank you.
  13. Those last black bars are supposed to be calibrated using brightness but no matter the brightness I choose they stay pure black.. the only way I can distinguish between them is by raising "Black stabilization" to 60 on my monitor but that makes it too washed out so I keep it at 0. Right now my settings are: Contrast:70 (I'd turn it down to 0 if it didn't mess with the colors because it's too bright it hurts my eyes at night.) Brightness:0 (the monitor is too bright..) Black stabilization:0 Advanced DCR:0 Everything else at default. What should I do?. Thank you.
