Fresh install of windows, checked connections. Give me one minute and ill check if changing the slots work

Windowed mode seems to do better, no-windowed lasted fifteen minutes and then shut off when the CPU hit 80 Celsius. GPU stayed below 65 the whole time

Operating System : Windows 10 64 bit Pc Specs : B450 Pro A (Just updated to newest bios version as I built it today) 2x8 gb 3000 DDR4 Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler WD Blue 1 tb Corsair Cx 550 Radeon 570 8gb oc When I run almost all games, after about five minutes of playtime, the textures on the screen will merge, the screen will then either freeze or turn black and cause the game to crash or freeze. I have tried everything in terms of updating drivers and such, but I am lost in how to do that as well. If you guys have any idea on what to do, It would be very well appreciated.

Will this be able to play 1080p at close to max settings? Or if I got a Ryzen 5 2600 and a RX 570 8th, do you think that it could handle 1080p at close to max and or max settings?

Is gaming multi core reliant?

Is Ryzen better then the somewhat low-medium end Intel Cpu? I've heard some good stuff about the i3-9100f so I was just wondering.

I am currently trying to decide on parts for my first pc and have come to ask for recommendations on what to buy. My budget is $600 USD ish, I can go over a little but would prefer not too. I have a case already and all peripherals minus a monitor which should be included in the $600. I also don't need an operating system. This build will be mainly for gaming (ultra or max @1080p if at all possible) and some school on the side. All suggestions will be appriceated and put too good use. A note, I am slightly hesitant to use AMD Cpus, but I am willing to deviate from Intel if someone has some conveying information. So please, help me enter the PC master race.
