tharvey reacted to sparkle128 in LumiLor Lit Tesla: Electroluminescent Coating System - Paint that lights up at your control!
I don't think my draw dropped so quick as a Model S off the line, but this is perhaps so spectacular, that if its street legal I might just have to do it to mine!
LumiLor lit the Tesla with over 40 individual fields of light. In normal daylight it appears completely transparent (you can see the original paint just like nothing is there!) Amaze balls for sure. It can be applied to a whole range of media such as glass, wood, vinyl, plastic, metal. The amount of applications seems endless! Would be very fun on a gaming machine too! It also has a ton of topcoat applications such as the demonstrated automobile paint, airbrush art, and cosmichrome (mirror finish by day).
My upcoming Model X may be getting this!

Glad you said it before I had to.
While I agree that it's just rehashed over and over again, I find it fun to sit down and have some mindless fun.
It's not SkyRim involved complexity, and I don't have to wait 45 minutes for a round to be over.
It has its place. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean others shouldn't.

CoD hate is old. Yes, there are annoying kids playing CoD, but blame the kids not the game.
It's a fast-paced easy to play FPS game. Nothing wrong with that.

Source: Toxikk Official Website
What do you get when you mass Halo and Unreal Tournament/Quake together? According to the German developer, REAKKTOR Studios, you will get Toxikk. Toxikk is a "No Bullshit" Arena FPS game going back to the roots of the genre. Powered by the Unreal Engine this game aims to bring back the gameplay style from the long time classic series such as Unreal Tournament and Quake with aspects that make it feel similarly to the Halo series, exclusively to the PC platform. The company mentions the following 7 facts on their website and why they believe in them:
(You can find more explanation on each of the facts HERE)
Here are some of the key aspects of the game that are mentioned in the video:
TOXIKK is set to hit Steam Early Access some time in Q4 2014, however you can already pre-order the game on their website which offers multiple packages starting at $15 to gain access to the Closed Beta when the game is on Steam Early Access, the game itself once it is released and the Level 2 Pro League Badge which will indicate that you are a supporter.
Personally I think that it could be a pretty awesome game if done right and only time will tell if it is. Definitely looking forward to it since I grew up playing games such as Quake and Unreal Tournament...when I was 6.

This is why I use AT&T. I don't give 2 shits about Verizon, even if they have the largest 4G LTE network. They are unreliable.

tharvey reacted to Askew in EVGA Precision X 15 launches with 64bit in game OSD support
Source
I've been waiting for this for a while, a brand new overhaul of EVGA's excellent Precision X utility just launched, if you're an Nvidia user I recommend you update! (Works for all Nvidia vendors' cards not just EVGA, writing this just in case not everyone knows)
RivaTuner Statistics Server seems to be absent from this release, it looks like EVGA has developed their own 64 bit monitoring solution which may or may not be based on RivaTuner.

tharvey reacted to brownninja97 in In win's sexy s-frame limited edition is up for sale, only 500 available
Beautiful music for a beautiful case
Well wow now sure where to begin. This amazing case is just a work of art and there are only 500 of them left in the world. Made through one piece of aluminium being bent, bent and bent again. Then adding two slices of tempered glass and carbon fibre areas for cable routing and you have this.
Now firstly get this through your heads before you start commenting with logic, this case isnt for performance etc, this is for making a statement, it will get dust because its in the open air so deal with that.
I would go through the specs but lets be honest, you dont care about that boring stuff, just feast your faces with pictures of this beauty.
So whats the damage on your credit card, do you have to sell you house and your body, no clue as i dont know the price is.
Well after googling it i found that the price was £650 but thats just one site, its not trustworthy, back with the n200 came the only site which showed it said the case was £180 and now that case is £30.
