  2. I’m building my first system and I decided to go with soft water cooling. I got an air leak tester and after about 8-9 hours my pressure went down .1 bar. (Went from 10 psi to 9psi after 8-9 hours using a Corsair leak tester) I am not sure if there is a leak or am I overdoing the amount of time I’m leak testing my loop with air
  3. I have a 500gb SSD and a 2Tb NVME 4.0 drive. I am using my PC mainly for gaming. what would be more beneficial SSD as boot and NVME as a game storage NVME as boot and SSD as extra game storage I know there is basically no different in boot times as of now since no games utilize direct storage but does it make a difference in loading games off a secondary drive VS a boot drive.
  4. If I'm understanding correctly get the cheapest board that has all the features I want on it. Should I be concerned about bricking a board with a bios update and pay extra for duel bios?
  5. I am looking to build a computer with AM5 when it releases. Since AM4 had a long life span and AM5 should as well. is it worth spending more money to get a high end motherboard (X670E) that way at the end of AM5 I only need to get a new CPU and keep the rest of the components? Would a high end (X670E) motherboard give any advantages in this case or is a X670 good enough?
  6. I have a prebuilt system that I have recently got a new case for to be able to get better cooling. The issue I have is that my USB 3.0 header does not work with my new case oddly. My old front IO still works if I hook it up to the motherboard but the new front IO will not work. I RMA'd the front IO ports since it is a new case. The replacement front IO came in and the same issue occurs. I was curious and took the replacement front IO to my brothers house and tried it on his PC. The replacement front IO works perfectly in his computer (also a prebuilt but slightly newer). Being that the replacement front IO that came in works perfectly in my brothers PC and the old front IO works from my old case. I have no idea why it the new front IO does not work. the old front IO is labeled as USB 3.0 on the cable itself. the only difference is my new connector is all black but my old connector has a blue end on it. everything else seems identical. the motherboard model is an HP 2b47
  7. Yeah I did that in safe mode and uninstalled Everything, that was the only way the computer recognized the GTX
  8. computer works perfectly once booted up. GPU works and pays games amazingly well. my issue is my computer doesnt boot up if you have monitors plugged into the GTX GPU alone. Computer only boot is no GTX GPU installed or you have a monitor hooked up to the integrated graphics HDMI port on the motherboard. once booted you can move monitor to GTX GPU and run computer normally. Running windows 10 64 bit on i7 6700 with a GTX 1060 6GB not sure of mother board, this pc was a prebuilt - HP ENVY desktop 750-177c (HP 2B47 1.04) is what windows 10 says bios version AMI A0.11 have latest driver uninstalled all other drivers forcefully disable integrated graphics through BIOS (pc never boots) Integrated GPU is a Intel HD Graphics 530 disabled integrated graphics through device manager
  9. So everyone here is trying to convince me to get AMD and isn’t helping me with my question, I’m not an Intel fanboy but seems like everyone here so far is an AMD fanboy, can anyone help me find the cheapest reliable system for a 9600k? Not sure what companies are good or how cheap I can go on motherboards
