  1. Damn, that really is a buttload of stuff hehe. Thank you for telling me though! 8GB really must be overkill if you managed to do that stuff with just 4GB. I will probably go for a 4GB one then.
  2. Thanks for the reply! Just as a point of reference, what has been the use case with the most load on the Raspberry Pi if you don't mind me asking?
  3. Hello everyone! I am looking to buy a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B to host some websites with a couple of friends and to generally learn Linux and so on. However, I am having a hard time deciding between the 4GB and 8GB RAM versions. Are 8GB really necessary to host a web server with a wiki or should 4GB be enough? Also, is a heatsink necessary for this use case or should I be fine letting it run without one? Thanks in advance!
  4. That sounds like a decent deal for a 1600AF, but others can correct me if they have different views. What about the GPU though, since this is a GPU thread? Do you have a choice already?
  5. I found offers in my country for 126€ for the 1600 AF, so I wouldn't buy an used one for more than 100€.
  6. You could take a look at a RX580 or 1660 Super if you manage to find them. Even then, if you plan to really play on Medium or High, a 570 should also be sufficient (if you plan to reach 60FPS). Don't quote me on the prices though: all of them are massively inflated right now.
  7. What do you want to use your GPU for? What kind of games are you planning to play and on what preset? Maybe you could go for cheaper, low-end cards that also do the job instead of going for a higher end, more expensive one. Besides, the GPU market is in chaos anyway right now.
  8. Are you having that usage when you are idling on the desktop or when you play games?
  9. Then it should easily fit into loads of Full-Tower. Mid-Tower cases and ATX cases. But it is always good to make sure.
  10. Although I doubt that you are going to have issues with that, you should make sure that the height of your cooler fits into your case. Just a heads up hehe.
  11. Sounds a lot like coil whine. I have it in some games without limiting FPS. If it annoys you, you can try to cap the FPS or leave it, since itself isn't harmful for your components.
  12. Thanks for clarrifying! IPS panels with this size and refresh rate generally seem cheap in my country, so I might go for one at the end.
  13. The UltraSharp is sadly much more expensive over here. However, the BenQ one looks pretty good and fits nicely into the budget! I will put it on my list of conciderations hehe. Thanks for recommending!
  14. Austria. Why is that? Is it because of colours or view angles or something else?
  15. Hello everybody! I am looking for a second monitor which I can use to look stuff up while e.g. playing games on my main monitor. My current main monitor is an AOC24GU 24'' with a TN panel, 1080p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. I am fine with the second monitor being 60Hz and having a TN panel, although it should be 1080p and preferably 24''. I am also going to have it stand vertically, because I don't have enough space on my desk. My budget is around 100€. I could probably push it to 150€ if I give it a little bit more time. Any recommendations are welcome! Mark
