Make sure it's disabled in Windows startup applications through task manager. There's also an option in uPlay settings that determines whether it starts with Windows or not.
Uplay doesn't auto-update unless it's running already. I just opened mine and it went through an update and I haven't launched it in weeks.

Meganter got a reaction from Tuklaw in MSI B450M Mortar Max - onboard graphics not working. DDR Speed 2133 not 3000.
Ryzen non-g CPU don't have integrated graphics so they NEED a GPU.
And what @alatron978 said for the rams.

Meganter reacted to minibois in No power
- As said above. If you're using Ryzen 3xxx, it might need a BIOS update. Check the mobo box if it has a "Ryzen 3000 ready" sticker. (if your CPU is Ryzen 3000).
- Ryzen (other than the G CPU's) CPU's do not have integrated graphics, so you can't get video from that. Only from the GPU
- Can you describe exactly what happens?

Meganter reacted to minibois in EPS connectors on cable on EVGA 650 P2
You don't need any more EPS connectors other than the one 8 pin. That already supplies 384W, more than enough for the CPU
ANyways, the PSU mentions this:
That means one of the EPS connectors can be split, the other can't. It probably comes with two cables; one cable is always together, the other can be split.
EDIT: This shows the cable set a little bit easier:

It shouldn't if it doesn't start with the computer.

Meganter reacted to MEC-777 in [Build Log] Woodland Raven - Case Mod Project [WIP]
Soooo, I just discovered something and glad I didn't toss the front panel away. On the AP181 fans, there's an extra 3-pin connector, which I assumed was for daisy-chaining other fans to them. After looking on Silverston's website, I realised those connectors are for the 2 fan speed controllers mounted in the back of the RV05's front panel. So, I promptly removed those, hooked them up and yeah, the fans only run on "low" by default with no controller...
WOW do they move a TON of air!!!! They do start to make some noise on high, but medium is still pretty quiet. Definitely won't need a fan on the CPU cooler. Might not even need any exhaust fans... O___O
Will post up a short video showing them in action later on.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum !
USD or CAD ?
Wait until Black Friday.
The GPU is good.
Everything looks good but change the PSU with this one https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/bqVD4D/corsair-rmx-2018-550w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020177-na
The Focus Plus Gold FX have some issues.

I would suggest you use an RTX 2070 or 2070 Super which I hope fits in that same price of the 5700XT.

Either fan splitter mentionned above or a fan hub that connect via 4-pin for control and sata for power delivery.

Meganter reacted to MEC-777 in [Build Log] Woodland Raven - Case Mod Project [WIP]
Alright, did some test fitting this evening. I knew it would be tight to fit a 92mm fan between the PSU and GPU, and well, it is... too tight.
However... 2x 80mm fans fit perfectly.

Here's the bottom side of the chassis. I'll have to drill out the 4 rivets at each corner and widen the holes for the feet to be mounted. Trying to use as many existing holes as possible.
Also working on simplifying the design for the removable filter on the intake.

It's a good brand but this is an older model. If you want to stay with Seasonic, I recommend the Focus Gold models.
