I want a cat. I had one when I was married and living in Utah. However, when I divorced, and moved back here, I had to leave my kitty with my ex, who despite agreeing to contact me before rehoming her, did so anyway. Then my ex died.
 
My parents had a huge lump of a cat (she was a Maine Coon, 14 lbs, and almost all muscle), but two summers ago, we had awful smoke from a nearby wild fire, and despite our best efforts, that cat refused to stay in the house. The smoke gave her an awful respiratory infection, which after a 2 moth battle, she passed away from.
 
I was very close to getting a cat rather recently, but right now, after the local evacuations, fires, and general bad atmosphere, I'm actually really glad I didn't.
 
As soon as I move, I'm getting 3 cats: One for me, one for my BFF, and one for her Chihuahua. My BFF's bf doesn't want a cat, so he can't have one.  Her Chihuahua LOVES kitties, and despite being 21 years old, he still plays with kitties as if he were a puppy.  

Found this little guy hunkering down this morning on the concrete divider median of a busy four lane highway. At a glance I thought he had already been hit and killed, but saw it move it's head . A quick U turn and picked him up. Amazingly no damage except for abrasions to the mouth and chin, and all the claws of both rear feet ground off to the nub. Very tame/loving and obviously someone's indoor cat. Evidently know as a Snowshoe breed.

Summary
Fresh rumors out of South Korea has it that Samsung has snagged an opportunity to become the Sole Manufacturer and Provider of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC. The reason for this according to an Industry Insider is simple: Money. Samsung has simply offered lower pricing for SoCs manufactured under its 5 nm EUV process than TSMC did. The deal is claimed to be worth a cool $840 Mil.

So now that Samsung produces the Snapdragon 875 and the Ampere GPUs it'll mean that TSMC will have more fab space available for folks like AMD and Apple, so I hope for AMD that they won't experience such delays again like it happened to them with Renoir and TSMC not being able to produce enough Chips due to High Demand. And with Nvidia now acquiring ARM for $40 Billion it'll reshape the Industry of SoCs and chips based on ARM big TIme.

For me, excess preparation helps -- I clam up when I'm told to improvise or to answer questions from the left field, but if I know what I'm talking about, that lends me the confidence I need to present well. I tend to write scripts and review them several times, a few minutes per day, each day leading up to the presentation date ("cramming" for presentations don't work as well as for exams, I find). When it comes time to present, I hold the script in my hand and only take glances every now and then if I blank out momentarily and need a prompt. Flash cards can work here, too -- the idea is to pay attention to and to present your audience, not to hide behind a sheet of paper and read a scripted story to them.
 
If the presentation is a casual one (for a class, versus for a panel), sprinkle in some topic-related puns or crack a joke. Comedy is a great way to liven up the stuffy academic atmosphere, and it might loosen up your nerves too, if the class likes your sense of humor?
