  2. Low fps rx 570 nitro + and ryzen 5 3400g I just purchased a rx 570 4gb as a small upgrade to my performance. the card was working well but now it dips from 75 fps to 40 in some areas at medium settings. I have tried everything including a windows clean install and DDU driver removal. I'm wondering if it is a cpu / ram bottleneck or if it is just the card itself. cpu and gpu temps are fine in game. build: ryzen 5 3400g b450 tomahawk max sapphire rx 570 nitro + Corsair vengeance ddr4 3200mhz x2 crucial mx500 750w power supply (long story) https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/33321251#PROCESSOR https://imgur.com/a/b70Dcuz help !!! : ) I can get and send cpu and gpu usage charts if requested
  3. sorry forgot 2 sticks dual channel 16 gb total when I turn it up the game is almost unplayable. I have reinstalled all drivers at least twice and tried to overclock I have also flashed the bios
  4. Hello I recently purchased a Sapphire rx 570 nitro + 4gb from a friend. The card gets normal user benchmark scores, The problem is when I fire up destiny 2 one of my main games. it struggles to stay above 50 fps low settings. I've seen an 570 run d2 at 75hz high so I'm very confused. Any tips are welcome thanks https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/33297155#GRAPHICS_CARD Ryzen 5 3400g corsair vengeance ddr4 3200 16gb Msi b450 tomahawk max saphhire rx 570 nitro + 4gb crucial mx500 750 w corsair psu lol

  8. What rx 5600 xt card should I buy. We know the Sapphire pulse can handle the 5700 xt so it is fine but how is its support for upgraded bios. Would the Power color Rx 5600 xt red devil and its unleashed bios be a better choice. What card gives the most performance with the new bios over all. when will Videos about this pop up on youtube ? thanks sure i'm not the only one wondering this. Im going with 1 of 3 cards depending on witch has best cooling look and support / use of new bios. 1 Sapphire Pulse https://www.newegg.ca/sapphire-radeon-rx-5600-xt-11296-01-20g/p/N82E16814202365?Description=rx 5600&cm_re=rx_5600-_-14-202-365-_-Product 2 Power color red devil https://www.newegg.ca/powercolor-radeon-rx-5600-xt-axrx-5600xt-6gbd6-3dhe-oc/p/N82E16814131759?Description=rx 5600&cm_re=rx_5600-_-14-131-759-_-Product 3 and gigabyte or XFX
  9. I already have my ssd power supply and ram I want to go with tuf because I don't want to have to buy a new motherboard when I want to upgrade
  10. I recently decided that rx 5700 xt prices are to high in Canada right now. because of this i'm having to downgrade my gpu but I don't know what to chose. My list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Xmatix02/saved/#view=6Fs4nQ 1 what gpu could I chose that will get me 120 fps 1080p minimum in Destiny 2 that will keep my build under $1400 Canadian 2 should I buy the 2 year replacement plan for my gpu (it is often 40 to 50 dollars Canadian) 3 is it worth it to go for a 1660ti or 5700 or should I buy a rx 5700 or 5700 xt reference with a plan if it blows it self up ( the xt will push me over my budget but I may pay more) 4 Would a non super or good priced 2060 super make sense ( non super 2060s are cheaper 5 what are my choices in the Candian market to keep my build around 1500 cad at the maximum 6 I have my ssd power supply and ram already Thanks !!!
  11. Hi I’m trying to upgrade my parents laptop from windows 7 to 10. Every time I try to upgrade from 7 to 10 it dose not work. His laptop is the asus u33jc with a i3. Because the upgrade path has been known to be buggy on this particular model I was wondering if I could simply backup all of his files and clean install windows 10. I have the free 64 bit version on a USB and I have his product key to activate it. I’m wondering if clean installing windows 10 will work. And if I backup his files on a external drive will they be ok. I want to fully wipe his pc and clean install windows 10.
  12. On part picker when I switch to the rm650x it comes up with this message ( Note:The Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.) but for the Rm750x it dose not I believe this is a problem that I’ll have to figure out although the 4 pin is not necessary. Edit I do not know why it says the 650 is missing a 4 pin when both have them
  13. Never mind I see 650 is fine for that combo to so thank all of you and I’ll just go with the rm650x and considering the ryzen 5 3600 and Radeon rx 5700 xt have little to no oc headroom it doesn’t matter for that either.
  14. Well I just looked on newegg.ca and the rm650x Rm750x and rm850x are all on sale and have a $20 rebate so I guess I’ll just go with the 650 I was only thinking of the 750w psu for say a ryzen 9 and or 2080ti as I’ve seen 750 as a recommendation. But at the same time I have no idea what the midrange will look like by then.
  15. Also Brob the 100w above choice is not for the current parts but more so for what I may want to put in down the line.
  16. I have heard that the 750 is overkill. But it is a small price to pay for a tiny bit more headroom and I’ll take it.
  17. I’m currently looking into building a gaming pc and moving on from console and I could use some last minute feedback before I start buying parts! My budget is 1550 cad or around 1100 usd. I only need the computer, This dose not need to include shipping and anything else such as keyboards or mouses. I do not need windows 10 included in the budget. The two cpu coolers marked as $0 on the part list are for future upgrade ideas and I’m going with the stock cooler to start of. 1. I would also like recommendations on good 144hz 1440p gaming monitors for around 500 Canadian as I want to purchase one down the line. I’m currently looking at the msi mag27cq. 2. I already have the crucial MX500 as I got it on sale. Here is my parts list anything marked as 0 means it is not included in the total price. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Xmatix02/saved/#view=4Qgp8d Any feedback is greatly appreciated and I will reply to all comments!
  18. Depending on my price point at the time I may go for a 240 aio just for upgrade potential. I will see.
  19. What if I do not want the bulk of an air cooler and just want simple and minimalist design of an aio. also thanks Jurrunio. you replied on my last post to.
  20. Hi I’m currently trying to chose my cpu cooler for my ryzen 5 3600. I currently am looking at These aio coolers as I want to cool my cpu with an aio. before I list my choices I would like to mention that I am using the Corsair icue 220t case. It has room for a 120 aio and a 240 aio I do not want to move the front fans. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/wMpmP6/corsair-icue-220t-rgb-atx-mid-tower-case-cc-9011173-ww As I want to add 3 more of the rgb fans that come with the case would it be ok to put them on my aios I need to know that before deciding. (One rgb fan on the 120 two on the 240) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/mzMTwP/corsair-icue-sp120-rgb-pro-52-cfm-120-mm-fan-co-9050093-ww 1. Corsair h60 2018 this is a 120 mm aio will this be enough to cool my ryzen 3600 and do I have a small amount of over clocking headroom ? Would I be able to put the fans listed above on it and still get good cooling ? https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/F2rmP6/corsair-h60-2018-572-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-cw-9060036-ww 2. Corsair h100i 240 aio if the first listed aio will not work will this give me good cooling and over clocking head room. Would I still have good cooling if I installed 2 of the rgb fans listed above. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/8mJtt6/corsair-h100x-liquid-cpu-cooler-cw-9060040-ww 3. If nether will work can you recommend any other 120 or 240 aios for cooling (preferably by Corsair but not necessary) would the fans listed above work on them. If the fans I want to add will not work I will just leave the stock fans on the aio. but I would prefer to be able to have more rgb bling. Thanks I’ll reply to any suggestions
  21. Hi i'm just looking for a couple of tips with some of my parts in my pc build. This is my part picker list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Xmatix02/saved/ Its the very first one. I only need the pc no windows or keyboard in the budget of 1550cad max. I'm already a bit over. 1. Firstly id like to know if my ram is good for this build. I have heard that 3200 mhz cl16 is good just looking for some clarity 2. rgb fan splitters. My fans are not pmw and I do not think the fan hub in my case delivers power to the fans. I need some ideas for 3 fan splitters that can connect the 3 fan headers on my mobo (1 header to 2 fans) to my fans, I plan to add 3 more down the line. What do I need to do to be able to connect 6 fans to the fan hub and power them. ( I think my mobo has 3 fan headers ill check. 3. Keyboard switches. I'm mainly gaming, what cherry mx switches should I chose. Cherry mx reds or browns on my corsair k70 Thanks!!! ill reply to any comments
