When you do decide to purchase a monitor hope that these resources are as helpful to you as they were to me. http://www.blurbusters.com/overclock/120hz-1440p-ips-monitors/ http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles.htm#install

Think I am unlucky with the power adapter. All white when viewed from the normal viewing position is yellowed, but off access it is pure white. (this applies to my monitor yours might be completely different) Also have the glossy display. The 96 Hz is a must and very noticeable over 60 Hz could not get a stable overclock over 100 Hz.

Recently purchased QX2710 LED from Newegg. Five minutes after plugging the monitor in the monitor switched off and smelled burning electronics. The power adapter died ordered a replacement from Amazon also contacted the seller in Korea for a replacement adapter. New power adapter from Amazon works so I knew that just the adapter died and not the whole monitor. The back-light bleed is minimal, but the color after software color correction is still off. Was able to overclock the monitor to 96 Hz. Took 10 days to hear from the seller due to Newegg intervention, on the eleventh day they agreed to send a new adapter did two day international shipping. If I had to do this over again I would have spent more for a different monitor.

Favorite feature highlighted was the Virtual Shot. Thank you Samsung for the contest. Good luck to everyone

Does the computer restart or freeze? If your computer just restarts it can be a problem with your fan speed controller on you power supply unit. Had the issue with two PSU that I own; where the PSU does not give enough power for the fan to start spinning and it over heats and turns off. Figured this out after feeling the temperature of the PSU after a shutdown. Ended up RMA that PSU. Temporary fix before the RMA was to blast the PSU fan with compressed air to get it spinning. Hope this helps.

Quiet_One replied to Boothanew's topic in Graphics Cards
Upgrading your PSU is a good idea. For a GPU upgrade still depends on the resolution of your monitor and what games you are playing. Yes your CPU is ok for the cards.- 64 replies

Look at R9 285 that features Tonga, a newer architecture that has better tessellation performance. Also what is your budget and screen resolution?- 64 replies
