  1. Indian pricing is soooo weird @Somerandomtechyboi the 5800x3d is 600 dollars. more expensive even than the 5950x lol
  2. @Eigenvektor if i plan to start streaming down the line would those extra cores help with that?
  3. Thanks @Dukesilver27- i think i'll stick with last gen only.
  4. Budget (including currency): $3000 usd Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming & bit of mobile app/web development Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'd like to play at 4k, 120-144Hz if possible Here ryzen 5900x & 7700x are costing the same, while rog strix motherboard x570e is costing $460 which is $350 cheaper then rog strix x670e-e mobo. So do you think its worth it to upgrade to AM5, while mobo & ram(ddr5) alone are costing more than $500 from AM4?
  5. Can anyone tell what kind of fps i can get on asus a15 for world of warcraft at 1080p highest settings? My friend is going to buy this coz asus a15 with 144hz panel is not available. So does anyone know if 144 fps is even achievable for wow on asus a15 with gtx 1660ti. or should go with this rtx 2060 with ryzen 4800h with 60hz refresh rate and add another 8gb stick to it?
  6. That's my point its not fairly quiet! If you have pin drop silent its really really loud.
  7. During this quarantine i noticed that since the streets are all empty and there isn't any noise, Just how loud gaming mice are and it's bothering the f* out of me. Are there any good silent gaming mouse under 60 dollars which are as good as their non silent competition? Current gaming mouse - razer deathadder elite.
  8. Thanks for the help bud. I think I'd tell her to get the asus one only she does only play wow. Thanks everyone
  9. I was also thinking the same thing. She should just get this one instead of waiting for 5-6 months.
  10. Thanks! I was worried if it'd even be able to play 60 fps at high setting before recommending this laptop. But this is the best speced laptop in this price category given her requirements.
  11. Or waiting for 1660ti laptops to get lower would be a safer bet to get good gaming experience for 2-3 years?
  12. So mid settings on 1080p should get 60fps right? Coz usually during raids, wow fps drops quite a bit significantly on her current system. Would it still be able to hold 60 fps with mid settings?
  13. Desktop comes with added extra space requirements of a table (for monitor, keyboard and mouse) and a chair. So for this case laptop is the only thing she wanna buy and just the type which can play wow.
  14. Actually there are other factors into consideration like space, comfort, etc and thus the use case is for a laptop only.
  15. First and foremost we're on a tight budget of 650 dollars. My friend who isn't techy needs a recommendation. USE CASE - My friend only plays 1 game and that's what the laptop is gonna be for - World of Warcraft. She'd like to run it at 1080p highest settings. So what would be the best budget laptop for her? My current recommendation (couldn't find better specs than this on amazon) - Asus TUF FX505DT Gaming Laptop, 15.6” 120Hz Full HD, AMD Ryzen 5 R5-3550H Processor, GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics, 8GB DDR4, 256GB PCIe SSD, Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 https://www.amazon.com/R5-3550H-Processor-Graphics-FX505DT-AH51-Keyboard/dp/B07VBK4SYS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2T5DIK9SOOXVS&keywords=asus%2Btuf%2Bgaming%2Blaptop&qid=1580962376&sprefix=asus%2Btuf%2Bgamimg%2B%2Caps%2C427&sr=8-1&th=1 Considering the budget would this be able to run world of warcraft at above 60fps with a 1650 card and what kind of fps can we expect with these specs? Also should she wait a bit considering the new cards coming up soon which might make the 1660 laptops more affordable. So should she wait or would this be a fairly powerful machine for world of warcraft? Also if you have any other recommendations for below 650 dollars with better specs I'm open for suggestions.
