    The difference between the drives is a minor revision. Effectively the same drive, same performance. Use whatever one is cheapest. 

    As far as what has changed between the two it is hard to know for sure. Could be anywhere from a firmware revision to tweak in the casing.

    Every spec sheet includes several models, but both are included. There doesn't seem to be any technical difference between them. Looks just like some sort of revision, there might be some difference in firmware which is not mentioned here. I could check the Seagate firmware page, but it requires serial number of the actual drive to show firmware and that's something we don't have...

    You can youtube Quadro P4000 and find that rendering performance is not really that different from 1080 at much lower price.
     
    If I were you I'll get RTX 2080 paired with i7 and call it a day.
