  1. Reinstalling is the way to fix it. And I took out my other ram sticks so I have 16 Gb instead of 24 but atleast it's stable now..
  2. I tried everything man, including that. I had to reinstall windows.
  3. I went into BIOS and changed the XMP profile to XMP profile 1 instead of disabled. It increased my performance by ALOT. But I have no clue about memory speeds and stuff. Could someone tell me if it's a safe change? Motherboard: z87-k Ram: Slot 1: DDR 3 Corsair 8192 MB (Part number: CMY16GX3M2A2400C11) Slot 2: DDR 3 G.Skill 4096 MB (Part number: F3-17000CL 11-4GBXL / 2133MHz 1.50V~1.60V ) Slot 3: DDR 3 Corsair 8192 MB (Part number: CMY16GX3M2A2400C11) Slot 4: DDR 3 G.Skill 4096 MB (Part number: F3-17000CL 11-4GBXL / 2133MHz 1.50V~1.60V) Corsair specs: Density: 16GB (2x8GB)Speed: 2400MHz Tested Latency: 11-13-13-31, Voltage: 1.65V Format: DIMM, Pin Out: 240 Pin, Intel XMP 1.3 before (ignore GPU): https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18727449 After: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18728002 And well.. I changed the XMP profile to 1, and now my windows 10 features doesn't work so have to do a clean install. But for the future, I need to know how to make my ram run as good as possible
  4. I tried disabling XMP, still broken windows. I tried switching the ram slots, still broken.
  5. before (ignore GPU): https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18727449 After: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18728002 The RAM is at the bottom of the components
  6. I already tried doing this, as I said: Explorer works. However, I can't drag my mouse across the desktop to highlight any programs. Can't click any programs on the desktop. And can't right click and open display settings
  7. I have an I7-4770k and a z-87k motherboard. Should be the latest BIOS update. What I did was select XMP profile 1, and it did increase my performance.. but now I can't drag files around on the desktop, and basically windows 10 doesn't work. Running the system scan now
  8. So, I changed my ram speed in my BIOS cause it was absolutely terrible. I ran Userbenchmark test, and my ram showed really bad performance. So I went into the BIOS, and changed into something called XMP, and ran the test again. My ram showed way better performance, but now I can't click the little windows icon, or the search icon bottom left (windows 10) and I can't press the windows key on my keyboard, and I can't press windows+tab or anything. But Explorer.exe works fine. These are the buttons I refer to. I can't get the windows menu, after changing my BIOS settings... Like my ram work better than ever now, according to the test, but now windows is f'ed up. Please help me
