    curved monitors are 100% subjective.....
In my opinion curved monitors really never look good due to their small size. perhaps if the monitor was 8 feet long the curve could be somehow justified but my eyeballs aren't anamorphic lenses that desperately need the monitor to be curved in only a single direction to be useable. a flat screen is perfectly normal to me. But who know's maybe you have different eyeballs I have no idea

Well I use dual monitor myself (curved 34" ultrawide as main and a 24" flat IPS on the side.) Can assure you that looking at the curved monitor at any angle except perfectly straight is weird. If you use the curved one as main monitor it's no problem. But for secondary screen I recommend flat + at 16:9 and 24 inches a curve is not much benefit anyway unless it's a pretty extreme curve.

My guess is either you have a wiring issue in your home or your ISP has an issue on their network. All you can do is bitch at them. Depending on your provider and their focus you might find they are not as responsive as you would like. Verizon for instance has pretty much given up on DSL, they are letting their copper infrastructure rot. They dont care. This is because they are focused on Fiber areas, 4G and 5G services.

Im not sure how to test DSL wiring. But if you can find a way to test your Inside wiring vs where the wiring hooks in to your home from the ISP, that might give you an idea where the issue is. On Cable internet we would just unhook the wiring coming from the pole and directly connect that to the modem. Not sure how everything is connected when it comes to DSL as our copper phone line to our house is nicely wrapped up and hanging on the nearest utility pole. We no longer can get service from AT&T (They dont want to upgrade our area) so we no longer have a phone line connected to the house.

I didn’t recommend it lol.. I couldn’t find the exact one they were using and this one came close to it. Price is off the internet.

I didn’t recommend this build at all, it’s what the prebuilt comes with ?

If you would be willing to go full size, this has "brown" switch, so not anyway similar to blues: https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K556-Mechanical-Keyboard-Aluminum/dp/B01NAI2TXC
This one, as an non RGB option, really nice board for the money : https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Alloy-FPS-Pro-Ultra-Compact/dp/B074F5L8GQ/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=masterkeys pro&qid=1567415457&s=electronics&sr=1-3&tag=linus21-20 but with cherry red switches, but might find it with browns locally or in some other store.

Oh and looks this one up : https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/peripheral/keyboards/masterkeys-pro-s-white/ sold out on amazon, but you might find it locally or in some other online store for around 75 dollars or so, even less is possible, but pretty rare, very good board for the money, easily changeable caps due to standard layout.

Good luck with the keyboard, if you must have rgb, you are right, Tecware Phantom looks like your best option, outemu should be fine though, I like the feel of them more than cherry.

Other than reddragon, there aren't any boards in your price range that would have RGB.. Reddragon are built like tanks, has RGB. Must the board have RGB?

Bluetooth headsets are a nightmare on PCs, I returned mine and went with a 2.4ghz wireless headset that works just fine.

I was never able to get the mic working in games on the bluetooth pair, it's some fundamental problem with the bluetooth driver in windows

You may be able to find a new base driver to use that would fix the issue.

Ohhhh, well then that makes it a different situation and that's definitely a better choice than putting it on the shelf (duh.) Even though, the bootkit is still a good idea instead of having to do all of that, so look into that a bit or at least ask the store if they can do it for you before going for a 1st-2nd gen Ryen processor.

You can add $14 and go for an Aorus X570 Elite or the TUF X570, but I'm guessing these 2 would not have your liking since they're more on the low-end lines of boards.
I'm still a newbie when it comes to motherboards, so I can't really give you solid suggestions or useful insight, but no matter what motherboard you ultimately decide to buy, make sure to read detailed reviews of it and watch enough YouTube reviews about it as well. If I had done so before hastily picking my board, I would've probably made a better choice. Best of luck!

    Figured I'd mention this...
The X570-F, Prime X570-Pro, and TUF X570-Plus (and I think the X570-E too, not sure) all have the same VRM. Though, the Prime and TUF obviously don't have as good heatsinking.
The TUF is a catch if you ask me. $200 X570 board with a fantastic VRM and a great featureset. I don't think any other board at that price point could compete with it. That's supposing Asus didn't mess up another aspect of its of course.

Choose 2700 for VM performance, 3600 for gaming. In video editing the speed difference depends on whether such task wants faster cores or more cores so I call it a tie.

The 3600 can definitely do all of that fine, but the 2700x would still be better in multi-tasking. Your call. Check the benchmarks and performance tests of each and make your choice. I'd say that any of them would be a good choice anyway, so don't hesitate too much. Also, this is somewhat irrelevant but just in case, don't use UserBenchmark for any CPU comparisons. With its current CPU grading algorithm, taking its data as an accurate measure of almost any aspect is not recommended at all. The site is good for comparing most other components, though. Best of luck! ❤️

3600 beats it in games slightly so the 2700x better be cheap

Best out of here is the Asus X470-F, followed by MSI Gaming Plus and then Pro. Prime Pro is the worst

DumboDodo reacted to Mister Woof in How do I evaluate a motherboard's VRM?
The actual answer is to wait for someone on the internet to do a breakdown of the board such as Tweaktown, De8auer, or Actually Hardcore Overclocking, and they will go into great detail about what specific power components are used.

Manufacturers marketing and heatsinks will really prevent you from finding out easily on your own.

I used Tweaktown to make my purchasing decision for my Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5.

It performed fine, and my experience mirrors theirs. I haven't had any issues on this board and am at a 5ghz overclock for over a year now. It is a "B tier" motherboard on the list.

That list changes all the time. While I appreciate the effort that goes into the making of these "tier lists", I don't really like what they eventually become.

The B450 board I got was in Tier B when I got it, and now it's changed to E-level trash.

People tend to use it to substantiate their criticism for other people's buying choices more than to use it as an informational tool, imo.

It does, we call it the Strix-E in B450 chipset. Tier D fyi.

You evaluate a VRM with mosfets or powerstages used in powering the CPU cores, as well as cooling system for those components. Phase count is a thing but to a lesser degree

Look any B450 would handle any 8 core easily as long there's enough air flow, companies have certifications and wont just put a motherboard out there that would just die if used with a 8core.
Obviously there are better motherboards and those basicly can even run passive with no airflow at all.
