  1. Hello, I’m currently in the market for a pair of new speaker cables and I’m kind of confused on what to look for in them. I recently bought a pair of Kanto TUK and would like to replace the stock cable (not that there’s anything wrong with them) in hopes to get more out of the speakers with better quality speaker cables, I’ve been reading the gains would be minimal? I’m using the speakers for a desktop and their about 6ft apart from each other if that means anything. Thank you
  2. Just curious, isn’t the AX850 and Seasonic 850w the same PSU just relabeled? So you can’t really go wrong with either.
  3. I have a similar setup to the one you're building and the system at gaming load uses about 650W. But I flashed my ROG 2080Ti O11G with an XOC 1000W bios. so you'll most likely see/need a much lower PSU wattage.
  4. This unit started making this really loud high pitched noise. Very annoying.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll make sure to look at what 650w my local shop has in stock. This is a reading of how much watts this PC takes straight from the wall while running Witcher 3. I forgot to mention one thing, is it possible to have a zero rpm mode on a 650w-850w? Just because this PC will be in my bedroom silence would be appreciated.
  6. Hello, I’ve been in search for a new PSU for a while now and I finally narrowed it down to these. To those that know power supplies, which out of these would best go with the system in signature? 7. This saddens me as I saw a local seller selling it for $200CAD excellent condition... I missed out.
  8. I have been using the AX1200 since release (sometime in 2010) and I’m a little worried as its been 3 years past its warranty. I’m upgrading for peace of mind I guess, as the AX seems to be going strong still. What would you guys consider an upgrade to the AX1200? Under $400CAD/$300USD.
  9. I'm about to replace my old Corsair AX1200 with the Seasonic PRIME 1300 now I'm kind of hesitant because of this issue.
  10. You're good. I ran two Strix 2080 Ti O11G, Kill a watt meter detected my PC pulling 790 watts from the wall on TimeSpy.
  11. Are you going to OC? For stock and just gaming NH-D15 is more than enough. Me personally I wanted at least an all core 5GHz and NH-D15 just couldn't keep the CPU blow 90C+ (I do video encoding). So I got an NZXT x72 and it was 5C-10C cooler than the NH-D15.
  12. Damn the original owner probably used a cheap delid tool. It’s a goner.
  13. I agree don't use it as an air cooling case. I did that and the air exhausting felt like high heat coming from a hair dryer. Get the air version if you want to stick to air cooling.
  14. Hello,I've been using my current PSU (Corsair AX1200) for almost 10 years now and honestly its seems like its still going strong. But then again I don't know what to look for to determine if a PSU is dying or in need of being replaced before it dies taking other components with it, and that's whats constantly in my mind. This PSU has seen some heavy use in the past powering two Radeon HD 6990 which I recall was about 70%+ utilization of this PSU and it ran that for about 4+ years. Which new PSU would you recommend? I've also been thinking of adding another GPU in the future.Current PSUI'm located in Toronto Canada and mostly get my hardware at Canada Computers or Newegg.ca.Thank you
  15. Sorry I really need to update my sig. That card died and MSI refunded due to not having the card. Im using a AMD 6970 LOL. I’m literally at my location computer hardware store sitting down. I’m really tempted to pull the trigger and buy it now because the 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra is $200 off, but then again I’ve been without a GPU that can run modern games for about 1 month and I’ve been fine.
