i bought quantum break and downloaded it today now when i press new game first cut scene goes on for 20-30 seconds then crashes and makes discord and spotify crash sometimes just discord gpu and cpu hit any high percentage i disabled nvidia and discord overlay didnt fix it this is first time a game is acting like this my cpu hits 57c under load and gpu hits 75-76c underload (gpx 980 i5 7400 16gb) running latest drivers i played games like detroit become human gta watch dogs csgo forza horizon and motorsport and many more never had this issue when spotify crashes it gives me a "The instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000" idk whats going on and never seen something like this before does anyone know anything about this?

yeah now that i think about it its stupid

only way this build might be worth to pick up is to have 200-300 worth of games still i dont think it would worth that much with 300 bucks worth of games

a320 not really a good board and you can pickup a rx500-400 series for dirt cheap and that gpu is 4gb

i had 4 hdds on my pc i moved them to another pc then made a hotspot point from my main pc and connected to it from 2nd pc now using administrative shares(c$ d$ etc)i tried transfering data its so slow my main pc has a 300mbps wireless nic 2nd one has 100mbps these are not fast but speeds im getting are terrible 100-200kb then after some time it gives me an error that the semaphore timeout period has expired sometimes just timeout even tho i can ping the other computer or browse files on it still very slow first pc has 300mbps pci card second one is a something something usb 100mbps card also i cant use wired connection because the other computer is in the other room any ideas?

i dont think that budget is really needed for photoshop i do some photo editing even video editing on a 4 core 4 theaded cpu no problem but if there is any gaming or video editing involved then yeah they will benefit from higher core count also 1tb ssd imo is a bit not needed most people go for 240gb or even 120gb(which is a bit too small) and get 500gb or 1tb hard drive but still its your opinion

disable some startup services like steam and epic games stuff you dont need it will make boot proccess much faster

atleast in my opinion x series boards are a waste of money

maybe get a b series board and get higher freq memory also aio and liquid coolind and that kind of stuff are performing very close to air cooling i would say go for a something like a noctua

i have that issue with my socks5 on my own server

on intel non z boards cant set xmp and youre probably running in on 2133 or 2400 or 2666 right now (h series boards can get over 2400mhz)

im having same issue that bios shows up on my second monitor for i think thats just how gpu gives monitors an id then windows changes it with drivers

it theory of wattage it should be fine maybe a bad psu?

what is your psu model

try remounting your ram or if you have 2 sticks run with one of them and if it crashed again run with other one(dont put both sticks)

if you can go for steam version i play it with steam version no problem but i dont think there is any official launcher for it and if you want to run the launcher under wine game itself will be under wine/playonlinux aswell protondb will give much better performance(assuming it even runs in wine)
