  1. I compared prices vs. performance on userbenchmark which lists the 580 as 17€ more than the 570, but I guess I will do more research on those prices. I guess I dont have to go too overboard with her GPU.
  2. The Phenom is my old CPU like i said, so it is just what I have lying around in my apartment. That is why I am using it in this build. I chose the better GPU if she decides to get a new CPU and more RAM in the future. Then she wont also have to buy a new GPU, right?
  3. Hey Guys, I am new on the block, so please be kind. a few months ago I finally upgraded my old system and treated myself to some better parts. I am in college so money doesn't grow on trees for me. However, my GF started to take my PC hostage a larger amount of time each week, so I was thinking about building her a system using my old parts. She basically only plays Sims 4, but who knows if I can get her into some other stuff down the road. The list you see below is what I came up with for now. The parts with prices are the ones which I would have to buy. I know Ryzen CPUs give you some pretty neat options at the moment, but that would of course also include upgrading the Motherboard and RAM which would bump the price up significantly. The parts I was considering would still give her the option to upgrade those in the future. What do you guys think? I think 380€ for basically a fully functioning PC is quite a good deal, or am I missing something very obvious? Thanks in advance for your advice.
