Louis Rossmann recently released a video where he talks about morals. It is a follow up video. Here's the original video: And here's the follow up video: Louis responded to a comment that said if Linus never reads superchats, why doesn't Linus just disable superchats? Linus has said he doesn't because they appear broken to him. But doesn't do anything like a pinned message in chat indicating they don't read superchats. Louis says there might be new subscribers who don't know that Linus doesn't read superchats, and sends them expecting Linus to respond to them. Linus's excuse is that if someone wants to send a superchat, let them. This is fine if you are aware of it. Except what about those who don't know that Linus will not respond to them? Is it fair to them? Linus does mention during every wanshow to use merch messages instead of superchats. But that is part way through the live stream, after some superchats have been sent.

If you're in the US, that is a violation of the magnuson warranty act. They have to prove you damaged the card. The void if removed warranty stickers are illegal.

How will this effect videos that have scheduled releases like tech linked and game linked? Will those either be slowed down or more people added on to it so that it doesn't seem like a rush? What about if the scheduled release is on a stat holiday like Christmas? Or if the stat holiday is on a weekend, will it be postponed to the Tuesday? Since Monday would be considered the holiday for those who normally don't work weekends. I remember on one stat holiday, tech linked came out at 11pm. I am perfectly ok with a scheduled release being postponed to the next business day due to it being a stat holiday.

They have it open that you can register a couple days before the event so you don't have to be in this long line up on the day that LTX starts. I will be doing that next year.

So back on the May 27/2022 wan show, Linus talked about how game changing it was when Linksys released the WRT54GL wifi router because it could actually run linux. Well I've got one, and it still works. Just don't use it anymore cuz I replaced it with a Linksys nighthawk wifi router so I can use the extra wireless speed. I was updating the WRT54GL too whenever a new release of the fresh tomato linux firmware was released. Last time used was in 2020. If you're interested in doing a video on it, I'm local.

I came across this video on youtube and thought it was an excellent analysis of the real reason why some companies have stopped including a charger when you buy a cell phone: I like everyone else, thought it would be about them just saving money. But it's more then that. I think this is something that Linus should watch and comment on for the next wanshow.

I remember this time. This was what I upgraded to after my computer was stolen. And then switched to intel after that.

I have an idea for channel super fun. Do something with Linus's beard. Here's some ideas I have: Have him grow it out and everyone adds mini pony tails to it that Linus wears for a day or so. Linus can show it off to his kids after. Dye it multiple colours of the rainbow to support pride. Allow Dennis to attempt to shave it wet style, with a straight razor blade like it use to be done. What can possibly go wrong? Dye it multiple colours, but trying to add a cool pattern to it. Have someone cut it professionally that makes it look really good, while still retaining the beard. Some of these may not be able to be done right now due to human malware, so I don't mind waiting until they can be done.

Me too. First it had that I could only follow it. Then I refreshed the page, it had the tickets showing and VIP was already sold out. @CPotter I think VIP should be done like a lottery. Every purchaser gets asked if they want a chance at VIP and they pay a bit extra for it. Then 20 random purchasers are chosen for it. If one can't make it, another purchaser is randomly selected.

Yes, dual booting is perfectly safe and doesn't effect the hardware. To make things easier, I would first look at running linux in a vm so you get familiar with it. This way it won't effect windows. Here's a guide on how to do that using vmware: https://www.osboxes.org/vmware-images/ Once you want to dual boot with linux, back everything up and I would suggest you buy an external hard drive so you can create a complete image of your windows install so you can restore it in case something goes wrong.
