  1. Getting an expensive card for 1080p is like buying a Ferrari to go to the liquor store and talk with the local crazy drunk.
  2. Look for a Ryzen 5 4600H in either the Lenovo Legion 5 or Acer Nitro 5. Avoid i5 and i7 models as all mobile Intel CPUs aside from a few i9s and one i7 are slower than the Ryzen 5 4600H whole also running hotter and having worse battery life.
  3. No problem. Also be sure to remove geforce experience as it usually causes lots of random issues and is overall broken bloatware.
  4. It's still a horrible idea to run an office power supply on a high power, high heat system.
  5. Unless you go above 85 under load, nothing to worry about or lose sleep over
  6. AMD won't stagnate as much. They can't afford that. But intel are rapidly losing desktop maker share. I think AMD has about 30-35% concurrently.
  7. On a side note, 800$ system on a 20$ power supply. Makes no sense mate. 10% of the budget should go to the power supply, not 2%
  8. You're not going to be overclocking on a VS power supply.... It's clearly labelled as a low end office unit and is NOT meant for a power hungry i5. Get a Be Quiet Pure Power Gold or Cooler Master MWE Gold 500W
  9. That's a possibility but unlikely. TSMC can milk a lot more from intel directly as they have the money to pay up and the dire need for fab space.
  10. I recall some issues RTX had in that game. DDU the drivers and if that doesn't help, keep RTX off.
  11. This isn't just drama, this is a massive delay. Mark my words, you will NOT see anything but 14nm+++++ up until the second half of 2022 AND weay even get a Broadwell-style cancellation of the gen after Rocket Lake. Rocket Lake will NOT have PCIe 4.0 from what I have heard and it will be a back port to 14nm as 10nm is proving disastrous on desktop and server. 10nm development is getting killed off completely and Intel's 7nm is going the same way 10nm went all those years ago. If intel don't make drastic concessions, 7nm will be a flop as, by the time it's usable for anything, they'll be up against TSMC 3nm
  12. 87 is the maximum value considered "safe" long term.
  13. Create a bootable USB drive and install a fresh untucked copy of Windows. Your current OS is a mess of firmware, software and drivers.
  14. You need to reinstall the OS, update the BIOS, Install the latest chipset drivers from AMDs site and install the latest VGA drivers. Then, monitor your temperatures to make sure the cooler is properly mounted.
  15. Keep in mind the 1650 is crippled by it's super shit 128-bit interface so it will be bandwidth starved. Also, don't drop the 3600. Get a 3300X is you really need to save money, not a 2600.
  16. Wait and see how Zen 3 treats memory speeds.
  17. Just use Ryzen Master? If you want a CPU fan control.
  18. Don't waste money on a CPU upgrade now. Wait till September and get Zen 3. It's well worth the wait
  19. Considering the AX us made by SeaSonic, I'd say they're pretty equal. I'd personally get a Snow silent from SeaSonic if all you care about is low noise.
  20. Guys, like I said in another thread, be glad they didn't cancel all releases up until then. Rocket Lake is 14nm and after than were likely getting more 14nm. 7nm is scheduled for late 2022 on mobile and 10nm is never coming to desktop.
