Just avoid the 2060 model. The other two appear to be fine. Apparently the 2060 is too much for the cooler since the 1650 and 1660 models run under 90C
It's normal. 30% of your RAM is almost always getting eaten up by the OS and basic applications. In your case you have a ton of junk also running so 41% is perfectly normal
Look for a more reasonable Ryzen 4000 laptop. The Lenovo Legion 5, Acer Nitro 5, Asus A15, HP Omen 15 and Eluktronics RP-15 are all fantastic options.
And for context, a Ryzen 5 4600H is faster, cooler and more efficient than an i7 10750H
You won't find a cool running laptop these days unless you're willing to buy a heavy on with lots of cooling. My point above stands, those are the limits of what is considered safe
They've been dropping the ball recently. Firmware issues and questionable fan profiles for the thermal solutions. They also rebranded the XPS models as Precision workstation which is an insult to anyone buying a proper workstation and expecting workstation quality and features. That's why the precision users all went over to HP ZBooks and ThinkPad P series. Can't say I recommend Dells business models unless they're significantly cheaper. ThinkPads and EliteBooks are currently much better.
Both are excellent hex cores.
Feel free to finite Reddit. Most people don't even know how to accurately monitor Zen thermals. They likely used a broken tool like HW Monitor which reports 20*C above real temperatures.
Not worth it. Performance wise, you're getting less than a Ryzen 3 4300U with double the heat and power draw.
Like I said, HP Envy x360 or T14. The Asus ZenBook 14 is also a option but not as good as the former two. Don't judge a laptop by the way the chassis feels. The XPs 13 feels nice to touch but its among the worst mobile options
All of them are shit value.
The mobile 2060 is not really that much faster than 1660 Ti due to power limits. Look for a properly cooled Ryzen and 1660 Ti model. An example is the HP Omen 15 or the Asus Zephyrus G14/15. Also consider the Eluktronics RP-15. And you can skip intel options as a whole. The i7 10750H is slower than the Ryzen 5 4600H while the i7 is hotter and has worse battery life. The 7nm Renoir COUs from AMD are extremely good in laptops and deliver dekstop-like performance for less money.
Get a 3300X or 3600
Get a B450 Pro4. The B450 Prime is shit
Seagate Barracuda drives are notoriously unreliable and prone to failure. Get a WD Blue
The power supply is a fire hazard. Get a proper one such as a Corsair CX 450 or a Be Quiet System Power 9 500W
DDu the video driver
Remove Geforce experience
Update the BIOS
Update the chipset driver
Track thermals and power limits on the card
Make sure the game isn't running in borderless window
