  1. Okay so try this: Pres window +X Go to device manager Expand Display adapters Right click the current display adapter Click Properties Click Driver tab Click Rollback driver if the option is available If not Right click the current display adapter Click Uninstall Check the box that says, "Delete the driver software for this device.” Exit Device Manager Restart Go to Start -> Settings -> Update & security, then Check for updates and install any available updates. I m pretty sure it is a driver issue, as a last alternative try getting the right drivers from website of the manufacturer instead of the software
  2. wel trie swapping your motherboard
  3. some motherboards do have a second bios that would help you restore it now but I m not sure that your's has
  4. oef that sucks indeed you don't have a tv you can plug it in? ( however I don't think it is the screen f turning it on and off doesn't help you) the Intel Core I5-3450 has onboard graphics if I m not mistaken right? try sticking the HDMI to your motherboard instead of your graphics card
  5. have you tried removing any dust you can from your PSU? it could be that when you did your upgrade you shook up all of the dust inside it. if you would choose to get a new one I d go for the EVGE 700 - 850W if it s not to expensive. the corsair RM line is a bit over kill indeed
  6. quite sure it is not RAM related but maybe try using only one set of RAM? have you checked if the problem is still present if you connect to another screen? ( or turning the screen on and off ) if all of those don't help try reinstalling your graphics drivers and as a last resort the only other thing would be your mother bord I guess?
  7. are you running anything else in background? how are your temp? what is the usage of the graphics card, RAM, SSD/HDD and CPU
  8. 1) depends, does your CPU have integrated graphics? if not plugging the VGA in your mother bord won't help you if it does you can indeed choose however if you want to use your graphics card you have to plug the monitor into that ofc 2) does your graphics card show up in the bios?
  9. can you open the can you open the Nvidia controlepanel? and does the 1060 show up in your device manager?
  10. have you tried making a new user profile to see if the problem is still there?
  11. from wall you could just try a different plug as for your PSU it should handle the system just fine if it is working like it should, maybe try a different PSU? or a different GPU. are you running any overclocks? cause that could also explain a lot
  12. have you tried reflashing/ resetting your bios? or removing the bios battery? (as this should reset your bios)
