They Sent me a Broken PC AGAIN - $1500 PC Secret Shopper 3 Part 2
Astra13 replied to Shahrad's topic in LTT Releases
Honestly, As a women into tech I'm kind of upset that all the callers for secret shopper have been female because to me that furthers the stigma about it being a male dominated hobby and regardless of whether or not that is true, I think to help break that stigma the way females presented in the tech place is to change that or at least it's a place to start. I love the concept of this series and it's nothing against LTT or anyone else, I just strongly believe it's something that needs to change. Also side note as someone who loves the creativeness of the intro parodies for secret shopper, I have to say I'm disappointed with how this one was executed. The other times Linus's partners were more involved, but this time not as much and it feels like a normal LTT video. -
Upgraded to a Razer Mercury Huntsman with Optical Purple Switches a couple of months ago and I'm still in love with it. A couple of days ago though I upgraded my mouse to a Razer Quartz Basilisk mouse and got them both for great deals. I feel blessed to have found them. Its amazing how much of a difference going from a crappy memchanical keyboard to a full good quality mechanical one is and also my mouse finally has a scroll wheel

I purchased chipotle yesterday. My last tech purchase was a "new" keyboard! Its coming on Moday hopefully. My last actual purchase was the processor T-shirt from LTTSTORE LOL.

While I am an artist, I'm really not great when it comes to drawing people and I know the porportions are off, but here is my attempt and I thought I would share anyway despite it not being my best work. Original photo used for reference was found on google and while I've kept most things the same I did add my own touches, such as the Floatplane logo on the back of the monitor. I know he's not as active on the forum anymore, but it would be so cool if he could seethis and I'd love to know what Luke thinks of it. IF you do see it, hope you like it @Slick IDK how to tag people. Also the pencil marks look better on the paper in real life so...

Macbook (13-inch, Mid 2010) Unibody Keyboard
Astra13 replied to Astra13's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
@SenKa I kinda wanted to see his opinion. But, you are right, he doesn't have to be in this convo and is probably busy and gets pinged a lot. Also, That's cool that you got your macbook air for free. I would kept both if the 2009 was still working lol. IS that the official name for the keyboard switches though, "chiclet"? Also a previous reply said they retired the keyboard switches in 2015, but I believe it was sooner. -
Macbook (13-inch, Mid 2010) Unibody Keyboard
Astra13 posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
I have two laptops ( No desktops), one is an HP Envy x360 15T Laptop which is for college ( I'm going into a art related career) for my other needs I bought a used Apple MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2010, White) laptop for a pretty good price. Honestly the keyboard one the apple laptop is so much better than newer keyboards. I believe it's still a membrane keyboard, but it's so much more solid and in my opinion, better quality. Does anyone know why this is, or is it just me? -

yeah, wishing for an 100% cotton option for the t-shirts dude to sensitivity to the heat and it being summer here in the U.S. -
Hi @LinusTech, I was browsing through the selection of products and came across the processor shirt and I absolutely love the design and would totally by it. However, I noticed that the only shirt size that's a 100% cotton T shirt is the XXXL. In the U.S. where I live it's hot and summer. The shirt is black which attracts heat and I don't mind that for except for the fact that the size I need to order is part polyester which doesn't breathe like cotton does. I have a huge sensitivity to heat (heat exhaustion) , so if you could offer the other sizes in 100% cotton that would be AMAZING!

I’m new, I was introduced to the YouTube channel by my boyfriend. I got really into the videos and tech. I recently got an RGB keyboard and a older Mac with a lot of ports and have been learning and looking at specs. So excited to be a part of this forum, but I have absolutely no idea how to navigate this forum.
