  1. Thank you for replying , i use DP cable , and most of the games i get 200 + fps thats why i dont know whats causing it its very weird the fps are ok ,temps are fine too , cpu doesnt clock down , i have no idea why it happens , i had better gameplay experience with a older pc from 2014 than this one , and i never used vsync in my life and never had tearing issues
  2. Hello everyone , so i have been having alot of screen tearing issues for a long time now , and ive allways noticed that when in my native res (1920x1080) the hz on windows it only reaches 143 hz but if i lower the res to like 1919x1080 it gets the 144hz and the tearing almost goes away , is this normal ? because i think that the tearing might be caused because of this even if i cap it to 142 or 143 fps i still get tearing and also if i turn vsync on the tearing persists , my display is the MSI Optix Mag27c on the manual it says that it supports 144hz at native res so im not sure why it does this , windows 10......
  3. i already tried all of that thats why i said it might be my gpu , i started noticing it more when i bought a 144hz display using DP cable and my gpu has really bad coil whine thats why i think its the GPU
  4. oh ok thank you all for helping, so its probably my GPU thats causing poor performance , guess im gonna have to wait till i have some spare money to replace it
  5. yeah when the game opens the ssd goes to 20% and then stays at 0% the whole time while playing
  6. I have the os on my hdd because my ssd is only 120 gb and gets almost full if i instal the os on it after the updates , and my ssd model is the Kingston A400 120 GB
  7. Hello everyone , so my problem is that i have steam and csgo both installed on my ssd but the ssd is allways at 0% usage and my HDD wich has the os on it the % goes up sometimes but the ssd doesnt move at all , is this normal? i have beeen getting really bad tearing might this be the issue maybe it is not sending the data to the gpu/cpu and maybe it causes tearing?
  8. yeah is weird my ssd doesnt move at all i even installed steam on it along with the game but still it seems that my hdd is doing all the work when playing despite the game beeing on the ssd
  9. oh i see , but thats not the case everything is showing up in device manager , but it is weird why this is hapenning every game i play it performs really bad , tried backrolling drivers , windows version ,using vsync/gsync , reseated the card and nothing helped , also checked to see if a new GPU Bios was available and i have the latest one so i dont really know what could be the problem , i see people with the same build as mine with constant fps no tearing , but mine performs really poorly , im gonna try to buy a new PSU and see if it gets better i dont know what else to do PS: also i noticed that when playing with my game installed on the SSD the usage is allways at 0 % and the HDD doesnt go up by much either is this normal ? both drives paging files are at system managed
  10. Thank you for replaying , what do you mean by recognized? my current , OC settings?
  11. Hello guys , so i have been benchmarking my GPU because of poor gaming performance , no matter what i do my games run very poorly with a i7 8700 k and gtx 1080 8gb my fps is very unstable , frametimes too , i dont know what else to do , in games i get really extreme screen tearing even with vsync / gsync i cant play at 144 fps caped because it tears like crazy if i let the fps unlimited the tearing goes aways but the gameplay feels laggy like ghosting , the only way it gets a bit playable is with gsync and Riva tuner with fps caped at 140 and since my fps is unstable it drops down very low causing stuttering , my CPU is allways working harder than my GPU , GPU never goes above 30% when gaming even with everything at max , i have been playing CSGO because i left other games i used to play because they were unplayable and came back to cs since its a old game expecting it would run well but no.... still the same so i have been benchmarking to see if i can see what the cause of this is , when i benchmark i get better fps it drops a bit but not like when i game + i have no screen tearing at all when benchmarking , ill post my graphs from afterburner to see if anyone notices something wrong because i dont really understand much about this stuff , could it be my psu not having enough power to let the GPU work? because when benchmarking my power drops alot, then why does it go full load when benchmarking and when playing not? + i get really loud coil whining when above 200 fps , i tires switching PCI slots and gets worse it starts at 144 fps , im lost dont know what else to do , i spent so much money on this pc hoping it would run games that do not require alot but not , my 2014 machine ran csgo better than the current one , how can this be? My setup : CPU: i7 8700 k at 4.5 ghz GPU: GTX 1080 ARMOR 8gb MB: ASUS PrimeZ 370 p RAM: 2 x 8 gb Ripjaws at 2400 mhz PSU: 630 w berlin 80 + DISPLAY : MSI Optix Mag27c https://imgur.com/a/bNNV1ls
  12. oh ok , thank you all for helping , i asked because my games run like theyr laggy even with 200 + fps and i get really extreme tearing , might be a gpu issue or the psu then , i can rulle the dxdiag info out then
  13. Hello everyone , so i have a 144 hz display its set both on windows and Nvidia CP at 144 hz , but today i saved my dxdiag info and it says Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) , is this normal or is there something wrong ? 14. yeah im getting 200 + fps but the games still feel laggy and i think maybe it might be because of that because i tried everything else and cant fix whatever is causing my games to perform bad despite having high fps
  15. yeah i feel kinda scamed not gonna lie , oh well every mistake is a lesson in life im just gonna take the pc to some shop , they might figure out whats wrong with this pc , thanks for trying to help tho im apreciated
  16. Hello everyone , i have been having very low gpu usage when gaming even with everything maxed out it never goes above 40 % and only for like 2 secs , and my CPU is working harder mostly only 1 core is making all the work ill post screenshots of when i was playing csgo with everything maxed out also i set everything to default on nvidia to see if it would push the gpu more but it didnt same as if i was playing with everything on low and i see people with the same setup benchmarking on youtube and they have like 60 % on all cores and gpu is like min 60 % up to 80 % https://imgur.com/a/oCaqMJKMy setup :CPU: i7 8700 k at 4.5 ghzGPU: GTX 1080 ARMOR 8gbMB: ASUS PrimeZ 370 pRAM: 2 x 8 gb Ripjaws at 2400 mhzPSU: 630 w berlin 80 +DISPLAY : MSI Optix Mag27c
  17. yeah ive asked on all forums i know about pc stuff and no one knows why this is happening , i never experienced something like this , i wish i didnt buy this pc 2000 euros straight to the trash , bought it from ibuypower in germany already sent them an email they dont even care to reply back , also tried the US ibuypower and they say its not theyr problem , but meanwhile in germany they are making ibuypower's brand look really bad , lesson learned next time ill build my own pc as i allways made , just dont have the time as i used to now feelsbadman
  18. yeah you cant see it on video because of the 60 fps , i have tried reinstalling updated driver rolled back a couple of versions still the same , if fps is caped at the monitor's refresh rate i get lines across the screen like screen tearing but really extreme and if i go 200 + fps the lines go away but the image itselft feels laggy as if i were playing on a 60 hz display , its very weird i think it shouldnt happen if the fps is at the same refresh rate of the display
  19. Hello everyone , so all the games i play they dont feel like 144 hz and not smooth at all it feels like its 60 hz or 75 hz all settings are fine bot windows and nvidia cp it gets worse if i play at 144 fps it gets unplayable i get a blury horizontal line across the screen , i recorded a clip where you can see a bit the issue im getting in csgo https://youtu.be/fAyztjHL4K0 you cant see it very well in the video its at the end whenever i move my mouse arround it lags like crazy i dont use vsync because of the input lag , gsync makes no diference even if i turn vsync on its still the same i dont know what else to do , i dont even feel like playing because i cant perform well when gaming
  20. oh ok I see now thank you very much for taking some time to help me 5*
