Hey guys, lets say im planning on getting an external 144hz monitor for my laptop (gtx 1050, no g-sync). When im in game, the fps is around 120-150 (valorant), sometimes it will drop to 90+ but only for a sec or two. I was wondering will there be any problems and will this method work if i wanna play with 144hz. Thanks a lot.

yes it does have a hdmi connection. i see, so this means that my 1050 is not good enuf for a 144hz monitor

Currently I have a gt 640 graphic card in my pc, and I am planning on getting a 144hz monitor. I was wondering if there will be any problems since my gpu is quite old? Thanks~~

Recently, i'm having this issue where my pc would suddenly have a blue screen saying "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. and so on......". The stop code that it shows is "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED". Every time it restarts, it would display scanning and repairing C drive. The message scanning and repairing C drive will also appear on every boot after shutdown or restart. I have tried going into the C drive properties and error check it and it says "we found errors on this drive". I then click on repair drive and the pc would restart. I have tried this a couple of times but it still says "we found errors on this drive" after several tries. Are there any ways to fix this?

Hello my problem is, when I turn on the pc everything is fine. When I reach the windows loading screen where it says welcome, the screen will then turned black and nothing happens. I have tried turning off and on the pc several times but its the same every time. I have only gotten into the desktop by booting through safe mode so far. (windows 7)
