Hey so I just got all of the parts in the mail and assembled my new mini-atx build and it won't post. Here's the partlist MoBo: MSI B450I CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x RAM: Corsair 16gb ddr4-3000 GPU: XFX rx 580 PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ brown So when I try to boot it up, I noticed that the DRAM on the EZ Debug LED is on. Boot, VGA, and CPU all went on then off. I also tried reseating RAM, only putting 1 RAM in the DIMMA 1 channel, and tried waiting for 10 minutes as I heard first time ryzen systems take a while to post, and tried shorting JBAT1. But still no luck. Running out of ideas here so please help! Everything from the cpu fans to case fans and gpu fans are all running. Do I have a dead component, I'm most likely leaning towards having a dead RAM but please help, need to get this running in time for college! Thanks!

Hey guys! So I recently graduated from high school and is college bound this fall. I'm attending a small (~5000 students) university which doesn't have an issue about personal belongings being stolen. I have a dilemma on whether to buy a gaming laptop or a gaming desktop. I already have a 2in1 notebook (i5 8thgen, 512ssd) I use as a daily driver through out junior and senior year. I have a budget of <1k usd to either buy a laptop or desktop. I usually only play dota2 (divine 5 rank) and overwatch (diamond rank) but occasionally play triple A new releases. I also own a ps4 and also debating on whether or not to bring it to college. Thanks for your help!
