  1. I have been having this problem for the past couple of weeks. After a driver update, my monitor will lose the signal from XFX Fat-boy 590 and go to a black screen looking for the HDMI 2 signal. This will happen while idle in windows 10 in the native 4k of my Samsung monitor. I sent the GPU for RMA and XFX said it was fine and they sent me a new one. I put the new one in and the same thing happened again. Black screen after 10 min in 4k idle. When the screen would go black, all of the components in the pc will stay on. I then sent my gigabyte b450 aourus pro WiFi for RMA thinking the pcie slot the GPU sat on was faulty. I made sure to take a look at my 2600x and saw that not pins where broken or bent. Gigabyte contacted me and said the motherboard passed all of their configurations. I do not know what is the problem with either my PC or my Monitor. The monitor has been running fine while me laptop is hooked up to it (GTX 1050ti & i7). The laptop can push 4k (idle and gaming in 1440p/4k) on the same HDMI cable I used for my PC. Could the problem be the type of output I am using? I am planning to amazon prime a display port cable and try hooking the pc back up to the monitor once the motherboard comes back, and try and connect my PC by HDMI to my Tv downstairs. Anyone who had this problem or may know what may be the fix here? I was looking forward to getting the 5700xt once third parties start releasing models, but if this problem keep persisting im gonna sell the RX 590 and buy nvidia.
