  1. Thanks, for the reply. It is not really I have to have it for Christmas, but have it soon enough so I can start work with it more comfy. One display life is not it. I'll take the 1440p approach and will see next year what comes up.
  2. Hello there, I turn to your wisdom internet wizzard people. Short Version: I am looking for a decent monitor, and possibly a second one. Long one: PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X ProArt X570 - Creator WIFI EVGA RTX 3080 TI FTW3 2x G-Skill F4-3600C16D-16GTZR Monitor: Lenovo C32q-20 - 2k 32inch 75Hz The Story: As a software engineer, I spend 8 hours a day working with code, so a clear display andscreen real estate are crucial to my work. In my free time, I enjoy long gaming sessions and creating 3D Blender art. The main reason I'm unsure about which display to choose is that I prioritize a large screen, accurate colors, a high refresh rate, and high resolution. I usually sit 45-50 cm away from my display, and even farther when watching movies. I'm not sure if a 4k display is worth it for me, and if ultrawide might negatively affect my 3D art. I am open to keeping my current monitor as a secondary until I have the funds for a new one, but if there is a reasonable price for a secondary monitor, I am willing to purchase one and give my current one to my girlfriend.I really enjoy the HDR feature on my mobile device, especially at night when it enhances the blacks so that would be amazing addition to the display. KVM and the ability to power one display with a single cable to the laptop are nice features, but not essential for me, since I allready have DockStation with USB C and power on desk, even tho its kinda meh. A little add-on, I am in love with mounting the monitors with VESA on monitor Arms, so there are no stands. I have no clue how to orient in that space and if you could point me TOGO one, or give me pointers on how to choose. My Current Picks: I have come across two displays that seem promising, but I'm unsure which one to go with. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not sure if this is the right approach. https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/alienware-34-curved-qd-oled-gaming-monitor-aw3423dwf/apd/210-bfrp/monitors-monitor-accessories https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-XG341C-2K-Monitor-DisplayPort-Esports/dp/B09PZBV2XJ?crid=31625NKVQCUHH Budget: Since I've already invested a lot in my computer, I'm willing to spend a little extra on an upgrade that will improve its usability. I think $1400 is a reasonable amount to pay for this type of upgrade. Games I Play: I enjoy trying new games when they are released, but I also have a list of favorites that I consistently play: Squad, Guild Wars 2, Modded Minecraft, War Thunder I apologize for any chaos or broken English I will try to answer any questions or misunderstandings as soon as possible. Thank you for your help.
  3. One silly fanboy, or internet troll, what else can I say. Not like it is not against rules but whatever. He can fanboy allover forums as he pleases, but won't change my mind. It is now battle for Nord vs 4a for me
  4. Sideloading ? My own custom apps ? No requirement to use one appstore ? Just no way to shut down wifi from notification bar - it isnt big deal but WHY ? As for HW: no jack, outdated lightning, and WTH are those bezels Can make my own launcher No need to Jailbrake - Which in return breaks my warranty on iphone, any why wloud I break it if I can have it Apple knows better what I want than I do ? According to apple I will never get Mac so features like airdrop are uselles Everyone else is closing fast on display/ camera tech I dont HAVE to use google stuff, but it is easier. I HAVE to use Apple stuff
  5. No, I would respond to that, but you sayed something about failing Pixel 4a, but I could not decipher it. It is, and issue is I have no freedom, I don't really dedicate much attencion on which phone is better but as Multiplatform dev I have issues with apple as company and I miss freedom that andorid gives to its users regarding modifications.
  6. I'll look for 4a once it releases for Czech Republic or I'll order it form Germany. Is there any disadvantage for me to purchase from other state other than guarantee will be quite hard to apply ? Cost there is quite reasonable Still whole europe market is quite filling with reasonable devices but Our market is empty ... just idiotic,... and the makrup on Nord is unacceptable... 100Dollars markup - which I think is our resselers markup is too much for only resseling ffs
  7. Ye, India is quite far away, but our online resselers are stating that OnePlus Nord is expected in one week. And in India is about 100dolla cheaper for some reason,...
  8. 575 Dollars for 64Gb and 640 Dollars for 128Gb is bit over the top with downside of IOS - as I sayed "and frankly IOS isn't my cup of tea"
  9. Yes, I like the Nord alot, but it hasn't released yet(21.9.2020 is release date expected) and expected price in our shops is 470 USD for 128Gb/8Gb and 256Gb/12Gb for 600 USD. 64Gb is not available and yet more, isn't nowdays 64GB even for phone a little low ? I have hard time keeping my few disc clean on my computer and thats about 3 - 4 TB. Specificaly I shop for Czech Market, Thanks !
  10. Hi, for quite some time I was gathering some money for my new phone which I am quite overdue but neither had the extra money for it or time to give enough research which one I should buy. But since my old Iphone5s is dying - When I charge it, something overheats if being used and battery holds about 4-5 hours of charge of not using and while using about 1,5 hrs and frankly IOS isn't my cup of tea it worked(occasionally) so I had no reason to change it. Most days new phone will be in my hands as I would be in my job or lectures at the university I attend. Here are some features written in bullet points I would really like on my new device: As for budget I managed to scramble is 450 usd, I could push it up a little, but now it is over the reasonable price for my constraints. Near 350 usd is range I would be most comfortable and not doubting the purchase European bands (I live in Central Europe so go figure) USB-C Jack 3,5mm - If device is great deal, I can manage without it but only in uttermost case I despise Notches and punch holes but if small, nonintrusive enough or device is great deal I can manage but this isn't a priority If battery life is expected to hold at least a day that would be optimal, I have no trouble charging phone overnight but multiple times in day can be troublesome Fingerprint sensor - I don't really care where it is, if it is fast and reliable - Under screen is preferable if it is fast and reliable Don't really care about selfie camera, back camera should be acceptable Most of my time on mobile device would be Content consumption - Films, YouTube. So I would prefer quite clear picture I would as well like game on it a little. I know i quite enjoyed PUBG on P20 Lite, but most of my games would be something like Archer.io, Clickers and Social sites - so nothing too demanding If it has Android 10 as base with potential to upgrade to 11 for longevity I wouldn’t mind. On that note clean-err android is preferable but I had no trouble except for Xiaomi and Samsung Google play/pay/Gmail mandatory I've tried few picknewphone apps but many of results were Oppo, Cubot and other not very well-known manufacturers at least for me. I would be grateful if anyone has experiences with them and would share with me Also Huawei P Smart Pro caught my eye but I simply can't find clear answer if Android (not only security) Updated will be provided forwards to the future and what can I expect from these phones(Huawei) ? Will future update force me to delete android and have their proprietary OS or what not ? Would be glad if you could clear this up ? I home someone will send me help me, Thanks in advance
  11. Hi, I have HP Pavilion dv6-6b80ec (I was only owner) GPU1: Intel HD 3000 GPU2: AMD Radeon HD 6770M/2GB DDR5 https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5145688/model/5196813 and recently I bought new SSD and installed it instead of CD-ROM, quick and easy swap, then I decided to install OS on the new SSD and then format the HDD. Now I´m allready running from newly installed Win10. BUT the radeon GPU doesnt work, I cant "swap" to the AMD card to play games. I have tried to install many versions of Drivers, many versions of UnifL (https://leshcatlabs.net/downloads_unfil/) drivers, but nothing worked. Someone suggested it might be because HP drivers do not support Win10 but UnfiL drivers do. And I know for certain it is possible to have Win10 and working card becasue before I moved system to SSD I've had Win10 on HDD. And there is another ODD thing, sometimes after booting up Feature levels aren't showing and AMD card periodically gets load for 4% which I can see in AMD System Monitor but I cant launch games because of missing Levels. And if the levels show up GPU speeds are at 0MHz and 0% load. There is a switchable "button" in BIOS for GPU to run in FIXED or DYNAMIC mode but neither works. Did I kill my GPU with adding SSD ? Or is there a solution to this problem which I can't figgure out ? If there is any need for more screenshots I will provide them ASAP.
