DefensivePepe got a reaction from soldier_ph in Noctua Releasing the NP H1 Hoodie
I like the design and colours but I hate hoodies. Something more like a tshirt or a jacket could have been nicer to me.

    Thanks for posting the news.

I have also bought 2 x 1Tb drives with the amazon offer but I am not yet sure if I will use them or maybe change for Sabrent, as those are way faster, even I prefer Crucial as brand rather than the unknown to me Sabrent.

I think you are the one who should answer the question. If you can afford the price difference and you are like me, who is playing games for no less than 2 hours a day, why not?

Taking into account your resolution, yes, there is going to be an upgrade. Is it worth 280 USD? That is something you should consider yourself but taking into account the refresh ratio and resolution of your monitor, I am sure you will enjoy the upgrade.

DefensivePepe got a reaction from Mr.Humble in UPDATING MY GAMING RIG
I understand and I admit as well that the CPU for gaming is not crucial but there are other facts in here. If I check the reviews, Linus, for instance, I can see a 55 - 60 fps in GTA V on an RTX2070. In my setup, I can not get more than 25 - 30 fps. Despite being the i7 3930k a beast as processor, the platform is very old and my RAM is old and not high capacity (I run 3x2Gb at 1333Mhz). Being this old, I prefer to change the motherboard and CPU rather than spending an extra 100$ on a new RAM that won´t last long. Also, I would like to try m2 nvme ssds that aren´t compatible with my platform. I know the RTX2070 is not the best but my intention is to purchase the RTX2080 ti as soon as it is affordable, that´s the reason why I am not watercooling it, I prefer to wait until the RTX2080ti can be purchased for 500$ and then consider it.

My main doubts right now are with the motherboard, which is the point to start the build. Both the xtreme waterforce and the maximus xi extreme are sold and I am not sure if I could get one or not. Despite this, I found the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme for less than 400$ (NOT THE OMEGA ONE). The problem of X99 is pricing for the CPU, i7 7920x is more than 600$ and the i7 7900X I think underperforms my i7 3930K.

For the Z390 platform, the best deal I can find is the ASUS XI Formula and the MSI Godlike (less than 300$). I think I like the msi more but the brand does not attract too much attention. The aorus xtreme is also available for less than 300$ but I am not sure as well. I was very sure to purchase the i7 9700k + Aorus Xtreme Waterforce and now I am completely lost.
