  1. Hello, yesterday I installed macOS Catalina on my Ryzen machine. Like my previous installation that I made one year ago, I had and have audio problems. The audio output is very scratchy even though I am using an USB mixer. I tried it with my onboard headphone jack, the USB mixer and a bluetooth headphone. The audio is not as scratchy as it was before. In 80% I can hear everything clearly but in the 20% I have these scratchy output. What can I do against it? Best regards Leon I am using the AppleALC.kext
  2. Hello everyone, the VirtualBox on my PC isn't working for a month or something and now I want to know what is wrong with it. When I try to start a virtual machine, VirtualBox says that AMD-V is not available even though it is activated in the BIOS. Why is the VirtualBox not working? Best regards and have a nice day! 3. Hello @Eigenvektor and @Nayr438, thanks for your replies. The .desktop does not show the icon I referred to and when I try to open it, it says that a command is not found. Sadly I can not see which command is not found.
  4. Hello, I have Ubuntu 20.04 on my ThinkPad T61 installed. I want to create a desktop shortcut which should open the webbrowser and open a website. I already tried this but this won't work: [Desktop Entry] Version=1.0 Name=Apple Music GenericName=Open's the Brave browser with the web client of Apple Music. Comment=Open's the Brave browser with the web client of Apple Music. Exec=/usr/share/applications/brave-browser.desktop https://music.apple.com/de/browse Path=/usr/share/applications/ Icon=/home/leon/Downloads/ami.png Terminal=False Type=Application Categories=Application What can I do to make this work? I edited this code above in different variations but nothing worked. Thank you and have a nice day. Best regards Leon
  5. Maybe I should consider a reinstall. I don't want to buy a new one
  6. Condition: Normal I got this battery replaced from the seller and I have it since around 3 days and it already lost 4,7% of the designed capacity after just 4 cycles.
  7. Hello, I bought a used MacBook Pro 15 inch early 2011 with a dead battery. So I bought a new one at eBay. According to coconutBattery the designed capacity percentage is dropping with every charge. And when I use the MacBook in battery mode, the percentage is dropping from around 30-40% to 7%. I already had 4 batteries and every battery had the same issue. This is the second, third and fourth battery I bought: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Laptop-Akku-f%C3%BCr-Apple-MacBook-Pro-15-Mid-2012-MC723-Early-2011-Late-2011-73Wh/253245555774 I can't find the first one anymore. What can I do? Have a great day. Best regards Leon
  8. Hello, yes, but I just see the first option with the firmware password.
  9. Hey, sorry for the late response. No FD is inserted and it is just connected to my PC via USB
  10. Hello, today I tried wo install Ubuntu on my MacBook but when I start from the USB-stick, an error appears and it says that I the system cannot boot from the stick because of secure boot. How can I disable that? I have already tried to do it at Disk Utilities on Startup Secure Utility but on this menu, I can just add an firmware password. Sorry for the bad English and have a great day! Best regards Leon
