Hold a paper towel cardboard tube up to every part and the other end at your ear, it will be very loud when you place the roll on the correct part

Ohh i see well since you said so then your parts are really good no bottleneck or anything, so save the hassle of doing research and getting other parts since you said not that many good deals on used.

    Have fun mate.

Solid choices overall. I would see what of those components other than the 1070ti you can buy used to save a little more.
Especially the power supply, you can sometimes get older high end psus for the cost of a new entry level one. I recently got a Corsair HX850i for like $50 usd with no cables, so buying the core essential cables in the form of a new old stock type 3 kit was like $30
thats $80 for a very nice platinum rated 850w psu, it can be worth digging around and really looking for deals on some items like that

can be a similar story with am4, check for used combos on older am4 builds. That’s a really good price for that board so there might not be an equivalent used option for cheap but depending on what you’re doing, ryzen 3000 series can be very cheap these days and might be a viable option for you

    Thats really good.
    Are you getting all new?

For that price you can get a better pc With used parts but alot of people don't like the hassle of it, so if you dont want that then your build is A OK.

If you can save up enough from used parts you can get a
    5500xt or
    1660.

R5 4500 is slightly less powerful but still offers excellent performance for its price. if you want to save money, consider a DDR4-3200 kit instead.

Changed out the SSD, but there's still major price cuts to do, so I made a couple changes, most notably changing the GPU to a 7700XT. Do you think this list is alright?

omfg just saw this. No. Not okay. I get it Slovenia might have shittier used prices than the "west" but because GPU's age so fast I'd recommend sticking as close as possible to value for frames GPU's. AMD's 700 and 800 class GPU's are doing a great job. 3060/TI /4070S if you're not budging from NVIDIA. There's also Intel that's competitive.

Just filter all the merchants in that list to Amazon. You'll still get the flat shipping rate  at least it should only be applied once to the whole order not each part induvidually. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/internal-hard-drive/#A=2000000000000,22000000000000&c1=di_m2.pcie_30_x4,di_m2.pcie_40_x4&sort=price

Better than a crappy dramless gen4 atleast
How much are the gen3 ssds going for? If theyre at 110-120€ might aswell get a gen4, lower than that and gen3 would be better

Yea should look at local stores, used market might also have some decent cases

Any better boards available for <150€? like the b650m hdv/pro rs, ds3h, b650-s, etc.

Waste of money for a slow dramless gen4, just get a cheap dram gen3 like the team mp34, or if you want gen4 and gen3 isnt that much cheaper get a real dram ssd and a faster one as that like the gammix s70 blade, cardea a440 (pro), adata premium, etc.

Should cut some spending on the case, cheaper = better = more $ to spend on useful things like the gpu

Decent price but a 750/850w unit wih a 10 year warranty is prefferable, otherwise id reccomend looking for a used 850w rm(x) or equivalent which should be 40-60€ used, if you get lucky you might find some decent 1000/1200w units (not those ancient silverstone units from <2010), saves some money and gets you a better psu thatll last longer due to the extra wattage

    Only worth ~350€ used

Get a new 7800xt or buy a used 6900xt/6950xt, if you get abit lucky and can stretch your budget abit (helps if you cut down on the aformentioned uneccesary stuff in the build) maybe a used 3090

It's hard to focus on low-end and limited budgets when one has a mid-range or a high-end system.
Although my system is barely mid-range, many people would consider it an excellent system while I always strive to improve it and do upgrades.
The third strongest AMD GPU and the strongest "gaming" CPU from the previous AMD generation, and I called it barely mid-range... :S

Truth.  I've become a little jaded I guess with lower to mid-range hardware, as I sit here with a 14900k and 64gb of ram.

Add the RAM. We're talking about 40€ here, not 400€.

I was there; I had a 1600x and 16GB of DDR4 that worked on 2666 cause the 1st gen Ryzen didn't support it at 2933 or 3200 and a Radeon 380X 4GB on 1080p. Then I upgraded the GPU to the 5700XT and got a 1440p monitor (both) in November 2019. I upgraded to a 3600 CPU and added 16GB of RAM, that was ~May 2020, then I switched to a 5900X a year and a half ago, upgraded my GPU to the 6950XT in May, and then sidegraded to the 5800X3D in June.
I know the performance of a Ryzen 3600 paired with a 5700XT. That was good for 1440p in 2019, but sadly it's barely enough for 1080p these days.

Well, if you wanted to optimize your system some, you could dump the discord app and just use a web browser tab, that'll free up 500mb or so.   It'll give you the same functionality and I've been using a web browser tab for years.  Had plenty of voice conversations and video streams.  Also, the game launchers can all go (Right click on the task bar icon at the bottom right, hit exit) until you are specifically playing that game (steam, ea, etc).  NZXT Cam can go unless you just want to monitor everything while you're playing.  Same with the Xbox and Spotify apps.  By my rough calculations that'll free up over 1gb of ram.  I don't use the spotify app, again I play it through a web browser tab.

Also why is opera using 21% cpu?  Do you have some runaway tabs doing something weird with javascripts?  Or perhaps an addon or adblocker that is malfunctioning?  iirc if you click the > arrow there to the left of Opera GX Internet Browser it'll expand and show you which tab is doing what.  44 processes are a lot, I use Edge here and I have about 9 tabs open, with roughly my process count around 25.

The sweet spot for the AM4 platform is 3600mhz, with you having 3200mhz already you're likely not going to notice the difference of 3-5fps average in most games.

60% idle?  What all do you have open?  It does sound like your needs have changed over the years.  Also, what games are you playing?  Are you using w10 or w11?

I mean switch the primary and secondary displays around in windows and do it for an hour or so to test.  🙂  1080p (even upscaled) will look funny on 1440p because it's not it's native resolution.
