  1. Ok thanks! What about the cpu? Should I go with the 5 3600 or 7 2700x if video editing is pretty important?
  2. The txm is like 100$+, at the price point i think bronze should do, i really don't wanna go more over budget. Or did you mean CXM? For the WD Red, the regular 2tb ones are 5400RPM and the red pro is 120$. As far as I heard the barracuda is alright, especially at the price.

It's actually a bit over budget so if something is a bit less and would get a better value that'd be great. Also a lot of video editing / multimedia stuff will be done on this PC so would the ryzen 7 2700x be better because of the extra cores + it's cheaper so it would be better value. I feel like at this price point its a bit cheap for a cpu but idk would it go well with the other parts? Besides that, looking for suggestions if there's anything better value like the psu, gpu or ssd and hopefully bring the price down a bit, even a bit lower than 900 would be great because this should actually be a 1000€ build, but the prices here are so much higher. Thanks.
  4. So I used to use an Asus F751L laptop, but ever since I got a new gaming rig it's pretty useless. It's so slow, even have to wait a few minutes for it to boot. I also always had it plugged in so the battery dies in a couple minutes. I'm planning on a SSD upgrade and a battery replacement. So I ordered this battery from aliexpress - it's not genuine but those cost like 50$+ and i got this one for 15$, it should be just fine. For the SSD I'm most likely going for a 240GB one (the hard drive in has 1TB so it's a bit lower, but I won't be storing as much on it so it should be fine. Not quite sure on which SSD to buy tho, probably a Cruical BX500 will do, but there's also a Kingston A400 the same price which is probably the same? For some reason the store's most recommended is a wd green but aren't those better for servers? I've never done this before so I found this guide opening it and this guide replacing an SSD (it's not the same laptop, but only guide that actually replaces the SSD. Is that all ok? With all that stuff and a screwdriver am I ready to do it, any other preparations I should take?
  5. Yeah, but the build is more focused on video editing / graphic design, so I'd prefer taking the better processor. Besides, I just noticed the motherboard is micro ATX, even tho it'd probably be alright, I'd rather switch it for an ATX so it fits better. Any recommendations on that end?
  6. Thanks for the help! I made this new list using a lot of it. I didn't want to put the 2060 cause that puts it a bit over budget, also a 120gb ssd is a bit small. Otherwise with the cheaper drive and psu, I was still able to upgrade the card to a 1660S.
  7. yeah its probably alright, just unsure about the gpu, maybe there's a better preforming model at the price but i have no clue about that

I'm pretty certain everything is alright, but I'm uncertain about the GPU, and SSD? Idk about 1660 aftermarket coolers, so it might not be the best at the price. He's gonna be using it for video editing / graphic design and a bit of gaming, so I picked the ryzen 5 2600 for that. All feedback is appreciated.
  9. Cooler master headphones sadly not available in my region. HyperX ones have worse mics than the g pro and I prefer the detachable cable and the build quality. Idk if the sound quality difference is that major?
  10. What suggestions do you have? I'm looking more for a headset cause the detachable mic is handy and narrowed it down to these two.
  11. Between these two to buy as a new gaming headset. Both are very similar, they have the same pro 40 drivers so audio quality should be equal. Not sure about mics but the g433 apparently includes a USB dac that the pro does not. Even on sites like rtings it shows that the pro doesn't include a usb dac even though at the shop I'm buying them from the picture shows it's included?? https://imgur.com/BruiX3U (the pic on store page). Also apparently g433 has the G hub app support but pro doesn't??? Is this because of the usb dongle or? Also the g433 includes a cable with an in-line mic and a carrying pouch which is a bonus. For build quality I think I slightly prefer the G Pro, since the plastic on the outside fits better than whatever g433 has going on, and for leather I'm indifferent. Which one should I go for?
  12. AOC 24G2U/BK (24G2 for US version) is great. 24" 1080p, 144hz, IPS panel so you get great viewing angles. The EU version has a USB hub with 4 usb 3.0 ports which is very nice. While a TN monitor would have better response times it has bad colours and it's viewing angles are shit, so unless you're a really hardcore gamer and all you do is game on it i'd go with this IPS. Been using it for a while now and it's really good, great price for it too, only 200€.
  13. Looking for some good over ear headphones. Some options are Asus Cerberus, Logitech G332 SE, Razer Kraken X (but those are on ear). There's no way for me to really know which ones are good at all so I'm asking for help here. All I look for really is the best sounding ones for the price (can go over budget a bit like over 60€ to 70€, 30-50 is just the ideal target). Preferred to have a braided cable and must be over ear.
  14. As said, front fans don't do much so no point in buying new ones to put there, might as well just put the old ones there to fill the space and lower their RPM so they aren't loud.
  15. Ok so 2 redux fans - 1 top out and 1 rear intake. For the 2 left over aer f120 fans I can put them as front intake?
