  1. I found that it's coming from the GPU. It stops buzzing whenever I turn off the GPU fans (I guess I didn't turn them off properly last time). But the sequential chirping/squeaking noise keeps coming from the gpu, even with the fans off.
  2. I cannot tell for the life of me. I tried listening for it but I just can't tell if it's louder or not. Also it conveniently got a lot less frequent right now so I had to wait a while to even hear it. There's certainly not anything blocking the psu fan. But there is noticeable static noise coming from it so it very well could be a bit faulty.
  3. It just keeps buzzing, it's driving me insane. I can't figure out where it's coming from, I tried turning off all the fans to see where it's coming from but it never stopped. I included an audio recording of it in the post. You can't hear it here, but it makes a very slight squeaking sound right before buzzing. The buzzing sometimes stops, or gets less frequent but I always hear the squeaks in the exact sequence as the buzzing is at it's most frequent. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on how I can fix this/figure out where it's coming from. I suspect it's the GPU but I really can't tell. 4. All new except the GPU! Not that many good deals on used pcs here, also no used 1660s I could find.
  5. Building a budget PC, right now at around 560€ (without the monitor), hopefully keeping it around that price point - I have no desire to get it to 600€ if not necessary. Most the items are bought from amazon.de (shipping to Slovenia, though most things have free shipping), besides the 1070 Ti, which is used at 125€. Here's the pcpartpicker list, would appreciate suggestions on how to improve the list: PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (€94.93) Motherboard: Asus Prime B450M-A II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (€56.45) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory (€46.90) Storage: TEAMGROUP MP33 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (€115.36) Video Card: Asus CERBERUS GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB Video Card (€125.00) Case: Deepcool CC560 V2 ATX Mid Tower Case (€69.99) Power Supply: EVGA 500 BQ 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (€57.00) Monitor: AOC 24G2SPAE/BK 23.8" 1920 x 1080 165 Hz Monitor (€149.00) Total: €714.63
  6. Changed out the SSD, but there's still major price cuts to do, so I made a couple changes, most notably changing the GPU to a 7700XT. Do you think this list is alright? PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor (€199.00) CPU Cooler: Thermalright Assassin Spirit V2 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler (€18.99) Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-P Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard (€128.90) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory (€135.22) Storage: TEAMGROUP MP33 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (€115.00) Video Card: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 7700 XT 12 GB Video Card (€460.99) Case: Deepcool CC560 V2 ATX Mid Tower Case (€69.99) Power Supply: Gigabyte P-B 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (€56.41) Total: €1184.50
  7. Some of the things on this list have shipping fees or aren't available, but I've altered the list with what I was able to find, also taking into account other suggestions from this thread. Sadly it's gone quite a bit overbudget so I might have to find some ways to make it cheaper. 8. All of those boards are 160-170€+ with shipping. Couldn't find the teamgroup, any other good cheaper ones to look for? Otherwise there's the gammix s70 for 142€. Still looking for a better/cheaper case, very little choice on amazon. Might have to look at local stores. No second hand PSUs like that anywhere here, gonna have to buy new. I'm considering the Sapphire Pulse 7800XT atm, goes a bit overbudget, but I'll see if I can stretch it a bit. Also no good deals on the used ones.
  9. The RAM has a fixed 15€ shipping fee, but I found this Corsair CL30 for 135€ which should be good? Which one of the cheaper SSDs would you recommend? Found this Meshify C to replace the case. nvm just saw it's mini tower Motherboard also has fixed shipping fee, 20€...
  10. Hey, I'm building a gaming pc and would appreciate some suggestions to improve the parts list. The budget is around 1200€. The list is already a bit overbudget so I'm hoping to make it a bit cheaper, or at least better for the price. All prices are from amazon.de (shipping to Slovenia) except the GPU which is used. Is the 3080 for 500€ an okay price? I know it's probably not the best, but there's very little second hand choice in my country, and this is the best I found. 11. Unfortunately the case has 20€ shipping... A whole lot of previously available cases have sold out recently on amazon, so there's not much to choose from. Maybe the NZXT H5 Flow? And the PSU costs the same on amazon. There is a corsair cx650 but it's non-modular. Sorry I forgot to note I'm in Slovenia, so amazon is the only store that ships here.
  12. I'm building a gaming pc. Budget was around 1000€. Parts list was about 3 months old, so prices changed and some things went out of stock so I had to change some things. Notably the used GPU, is it any good? It's a 3070 Ti Gainward for 300€ (listed as 3070 because pcpartpicker doesn't have that for some reason). All other prices are from amazon.de. Parts list: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/2W7PgB Edit: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/2VJxbL Would appreciate any suggestions to improve it (hopefully keeping it at a similar cost).
  13. I showed what programs are running: And addressed why:
  14. Starfield, FIFA 23, Cities Skylines 2... Most games since my idle usage is pretty high.
